Product Review: Honda Metropolitan
Фильм және анимация
It's little. It's flashy. It looks like it just came from Europe. It's the Metropolitan from Honda. Now Chris Luck usually reviews big motorcycles with a lot of chrome and a ton of power, but this week he got his hands on something smaller, but the Metropolitan didn't disappoint our horsepower Product Reviewer. With gas pricess constantly going up, the Metro get's more miles to the gallon than you're likely to find anywhere else.

I've just bought a honda metropolitan 2014 orange and love this thing and yes, you can drive these on hard dirt and gravel roads at safe speeds. With this I have time to see more of what I was missing driving over 18 mph. These are great.
I bought 2 2013 models. They are very fun and I get questions and compliments all the time.
I own a 2007 Honda Metropolitan with both the basket and rear trunk accessories installed. They are really fun to ride!
This is a cool scooter! I'm seriously looking into getting one! THANKS for the Great review!!!!!
......which pixel is the scooter?
Good review. No problems. Great fun. You can't ride a scooter without smiling!
love love the vid, the music does it justice

Great scooter, I have a 2020
gas prices are a tad higher in 2022
The funny thing is my family has so many dirt bikes and so do I and I also have one of these same color everything
GREAT little review. Like below, video quality was a bit shammy. Still just swell though! Buying one tomorrow!
Im going to college soon and a lot of the amenities in the city aren't the farthest away, im thinking of getting one due to its price and size, it would be a lot more convenient than getting a full sized car.
That thing is bad-ass 👍
Why should you be embarrassed? I love my Honda Metropolitan.
I wish this video was in focus.
Does it have the 50cc GY6 engine?
can you boost this to get to atleast 60
What is the weight limit ? And the cc
How much does it weight. How many miles per gallon?

About 100 mpg, give or take. Me and one other guy were able to load/unload mine from a standard-size pickup fairly easily. It probably doesn't weigh more than a couple hundred pounds.
Dont sweat it , no apoligies needed. Well said, all pros & cons mentioned , lighten up ppl , its a review ...Hell yes, they's fun to ride in crazy Miami's traffic. lol
Hahaha, I want that music to play when I ride
is it EU approved?
This is actually the 2009 model, not the 2012 one.
that's guy is sooo embarrassed riding that thing...LIKE a surfer trying to sell a boogie board
Venice?! There’s no cars or motorcycles in Venice and the scooter counts to
Bay
It goes 30 mph tops.
So cute...and it s a Honda.
Do you think you could get this scooter to 50k miles with religiously taking care of the scooter? Like changing the oil out every 1k miles and NEVER abuse it, don't speed up quick, and NEVER go over 30 mph.

Why would you want this scooter to last for 50K miles? It's unrealistic. You would be better off selling it at 10K miles, recouping some of your money, then buy a new one. The features only get better with time. I had a Kymco scooter with a carburetor for 12 years. While it gave me no problems, I sold it on Facebook when it started to need tires. I didn't want to invest $200 tires in something I ended up getting $500 for.
Scooter stigma. Not manly to those that aren't secure enough about their manhood. They need big bikes for supplement.
49cc is not powerful enough to get around town, need at least 70-80 cc minimum. I have a honda pcx 125 scooter and it barely is just enough around town.

@@DallasCityGurl Yeah, you ain't kidding. On my only trip to DFW with a drivers license I damn near got run off the expressway while doing 80 in the right lane by a bigass pickup truck. Of course you'd have to be crazy to take one of these on a road where the speed limit was above 35-40 mph unless you like driving on the shoulder.
40mph? yea right

yeah max downhill maybe 35
Hate to break it to ya. A true hardcore biker wouldn't even sit on a scooter.

If you let go of that belief, you will be happier. Im a biker. My wife has a Met and I bought/built an evil 70cc 2 stroke to ride with her.
This isn't a moped. Mopeds have pedals.

Most states lack specific statutes for scooters and consider scooters that are under a threshold for top speed or engine displacement, or both, to be a moped.
The 2016 Honda 'Metropolitan' is actually a motorcycle...but due to the 10"-inch wheels is classed as a 'scooter'.Your review is derisive and fails to mention that the 'Metropolitan' is a very sophisticated vehicle from any aspect...and has no relationship to 'mo-peds' whatever.No...the 'Metro' does not have a 'high top-end' because it been deliberately structured by Honda not to exceed certain parameters due to the short wheelbase inherent to the vehicle...speeds faster than 55mph are dangerous for this type of 'two-wheeler', so Honda insures that the 'Metro' will not achieve such a speed in 'factory stock' condition.(there are certain parts which can be 'upgraded' to enable the 'Metro' to exceed 50mph...but only a very experienced rider would be safe at that speed)"Most people wouldn't expect to see a guy like me riding this?" Why? Are you that insecure and want people to think 'I'm real tough!' Really? You care that much over someone else's value judgments?
Ugh, my reason for giving you a thumbs down was because of the lack of video quality
