first time im hearing about people preferring olive oil over the argan oil one, I guess it really does depend on the hair.

The olive oil one was terrible for me, the argan oil one is soooo much better for me. its so interesting. The olive oil one would make my hair flake and didnt have enough hold . Its interesting see everyones comments.

I use the argan oil one I love it Holds my hair even on the hottest day in Texas . I have medium thick hair

argan has a great hold for my hair. thought everyone liked it. haven't tried olive oil yet.

I've only used the Argon oil gel, it holds if I tie it with a scarf overnight, and leaves my hair soft after a whole day. I heard the olive oil one flakes which is why I've never tried it.

The Argan oil one is the only one that has ever allowed me to lay down my edges! No flakes and great hold and shine. The olive oil one was terrible for me, lots of flakes, sticky and didn't hold my hair. It's amazing to see how different products work for different people! I'm glad you've found one that works for you! 😍

the argan oil slicks better than the olive oil to me and it adds shines.

The olive oil one is def thicker and has a stronger hold than the argon oil one

I just bought the one in the red jar. I haven't used gel on my hair in a veeeeeery looooong time. I was the queen of hair gel. I will be using it every now and again to put my hair up in a bun. But my guy friend likes it when I do a tight curl wash and set. I get attention with that style from men and women.

i like the eco styler with olive oil, I use moisturizer and black castor oil with it and it gives me that good, good hair look.

Hello I started with the crystal eco gel. And it is strong hold. My next choice will be the olive oil.

I did something similar, bought the argon oil because they were out of olive oil, they both work on my hair, but I use twice as much of the argon one to get the hold that I want. Olive oil hands down my fave too.

After watching a lot of videos I realize one thing, the ARGAN OIL ECO STYLING GEL is for thin or light hair. My hair is thin and two days ago I decided to give this a shot, believe me, I have never seen so many curls in my life. I Looooooooooooooooooove it. Awesome video.

I'm going to have to purchase both of them to try them! I feel like I have something missing in my hair regimen and I think the gel might help. the cantu curl cream is great but I think I need more hold. lol

Yea try them both out and see which one you like. Also, try a different styler. Some stylers have more hold than others.

Same I'm about to go gel shopping and I know you should experiment but I don't want to experiment and waste money.

I really like the Argan oil but the olive oil one works best on my hair. I use it with the Shea Moisture JBCO strength and. Restore leave in exclusively.

I like both.. never used either for twists but might have to try that.. my hair is thick and kinky but I find that the olive oil one makes it wave up more so I use the argon for my edges

I’ve used the argon oil gel for about 2 years and it has always flaked after about 3 days of being in my hair. I recently started using the olive oil gel for about a month now and it leaves my hair feeling moisturized and it actually doesn’t flake:) team olive oil!

Dammit! Now I have to try it! Because my biggest frustration with my hair is that I have yet to find a product that holds my twist outs for more than a day. I have the argon oil right now. Thanks for this! Maybe this will be the gel that holds me down.

I use pure Aloe Vera Gel and the results are amazing!!!. For natural hair using natural products will stimulate hair growth. The pure Aloe gel defines, leaves your curl soft and manageable, and not,flaky. I am a true 4c with course hair and my curls are always popping.

I'm a true 4c as well. I wish I could say the same about these gels. They don't do anything for me. I'm gonna give it one last try ONLY because I'm letting my hair grow after 4 and a half years of a short cut. Praying it works 🤗

Truth!!! I don't feel any of them really hold hard but the krystal.

For the Argain oil people usually say you should wet your hair first before applying it, so it can really hold. I tried doing that but it never works !

Argan defines my short natural hair and I honestly love it I got it the same reason u did ran out of olive and there was no olive in the store so got argan and I don’t regret it it stays soft and curly ❤️☺️

the olive oil one flakes up on me so half the jar was used on my edges. I just bought the argan oil one so I'll see how it works.

Argan is bae.... the olive oil dries out my hair way toooo much. And my hair is thick AF and olive oil does nothing

I love the argan oil one. No residue and it leaves my hair softer than the olive oil one. Not a fan of the olive oil one.

I have used only the argan oli one, and i love how you can only brush your hair, and you don't have any gel on your hair anymore! So you don't have to wash your hair!

the olive oil eco styler gel flakes on my hair :-( it has great definition but I can't wear black with it so I use argan oil one because it doesn't flake on me. I like argan oil more than olive oil on their own so it's no surprise to me. my hair doesn't move much with gel (light or heavy hold). but I might try olive oil eco styler gel again one day! I liked how it elongated my hair and it dried the same way it looked wet. however argan oil dries in a more shrunken state.

I love the olive oil one but my near by hair store ran out of it I'm mad about that but it's cool so now I use the coconut oil it's okay but it's not as good as the olive oil in my opinion I think the olive oil is the best eco out of all

The Olive Oil flakes my hair terribly but has great hold and definition. The Argan Oil doesn't flake, smells great but the hold isn't great and limited definition.

Both Olive and Argan have the same ingredient however, the formulation could be different.

I hate the Argan oil one , it flakes so bad in my baby hair she came home from school looking crazy one day . Oil oil is def my fav , great video

You should try the pink, blue and black Eco styling gel but I like the green but my hair is curly so I have to put a scarf after I put the green one on...the red one gave me flakes...but green is what it is..oh try flax seed gel which you can make😊

Kierra Rolle it's probably the product you use with it but if you want to check take a little bit of the gel and the product that you us and rub your hands together but if it's white and flaky then it's not working but if it's invisible your good

they do flake with or without product. it does it more with the wrong product, not washing your hair before use, or the hair just being dry before use. been using argan eco for a year and some products don't work well it.

Yeah, I like the Argan Oil a little better. As I can remember it didn't flake as much as the Olive Oil. It's been a while since I used the Argan Oil gel...

she is right. The Argan doesn't hold thick, course hair.

They both leave my hair dry and crunchy but that olive oil one takes the cake for not leaving it not as dry as the Argan oil one lol. I might be doing something wrong

trophdoph I finally got them both to work for me 🙏🏽🙏🏽. I was using it wrong my hair type needs a lot of moisture under this gel In order for it to work for me. I'm so happy because this gel is extremely cheap lol

I had tried the argan oil one and liked it it held in my edges and everything when i ran out and bought another it didn't work the same thinking of trying the olive oil one hopefully tht one will be consistent
