☕️☕️ the tea stays in the cups, guys, nothing of consequence to spill. Bitchiness isnt encouraged in the industry, it isnt entertainment (unlike in the US where TV gets really nasty). Feuding among stars happens among movie celebrities and reality shows. But the artists and musicians with talent who want a long career have no time to pick fights. With all the daily and weekly variety and talent shows, there is a high demand for live collaborations where performers have only hours before the program to rehearse. So it is unwise and unproductive to misbehave.Our best singers are remarkably down to earth and humble. A good many grew up in difficult circumstances and thankfully do not forget where they came from. And the fans, of course, love that.

In the Philippines, when we like a certain artist, we like to listen most of their songs and check which ones are really good. We like to be loyal to our favorite artist and so we learn how to sing most of their songs. Take my sons ( 10 and 8years) for example, they just started with singing Ed Sheeran's Perfect but now they know more than 7 or his songs by heart some of them I don't even hear from the radio. That's why you get to hear some songs that really didn't make it big in the US but became popular in the Philippines.

🍲🍵 I can't think of any artists that had a feud to the point that they can't work together, I think it's because they have so much respect for their craft. The industry values professionalism, if not more than talent, so you'll never hear something like that happening here. Usually, it's the fans that are clashing, but never the artists.

Same feeling here when listening to these types of music - nostalgia.

My two most favorite singers now... everyrime they never cease to amaze me with their performances. Stupende!!!!!

I think many Filipino singers and artists wouldn't want to be seen as being unfriendly to other artists, especially since there's a huge chance that they will be working together in future projects given the size of the industry. So even if they may not like one another, they will not publicly diss them or be rude to them. They're expected to behave accordingly. (But when it comes to fans, that's a different story. Fan clubs will always champion their favorite artist. And any fierce rivalry is mostly between fans. Sometimes the artist or the artist's management won't do or say anything to their fans because the "rivalry" is still free publicity.)

Finally this was featured Been waiting for awhile Love Toni Braxton during my time and all her beautiful songs , Now with Gigi and Mori singing their songs the best can ever happen , 2 great artist performing and blending so beautifully is just above and beyond I have ever expected Can feel the respect of both artists to each other is priceless, they should do more duets ❤❤❤❤❤

🍵🍲 sometimes fans make “feud” b/n artists that’s not really there so. But if you like, listen to Someday, Nina version & Nyoy Volante version. and provide analysis on their different takes on the song, arrangement etc. It doesn’t have a wish bus tho so maybe MV. But they are both good live. This used to be (or still is) the anthem of broken-hearted people here! Nyoy wrote this song for Nina to sing (for her to sing, not dedicated to her as per the meaning of the song because they were still dating when this was released). They broke up and it wasn’t peaceful but you can’t really trust showbiz news so 🤷‍♀️ but yeah, I don’t think they sang together after that.

In my 40plus years of existence never saw a Gigi de Lana she is one of a kind but the other lady there a lot of girls just like her who competes in a singing contest she’s common.

I've seen Mori with most of the top artists doing medleys, duets, etc. They seem to know each other and are even friends. One person, however, I don't think is so amenable. Lea Salonga seems to keep her distance... just my impression. Maybe she is just older, maybe it is her fame or even her upbringing, but I seem to sense that she prefers to be at a distance.
