Figured I’d let you know, I just purchased one last week, they do now come with a gutter above the front of the coop, and they now include 3 roosting bars inside and advertise it as enough room for 18 chickens

Thanks for showing your experiences with chicken coops. Bought the Defender last year and will assemble this winter. Saw another video mentioning the water issue. They said there is now a gutter made for this issue and to contact Tractor Supply Warranty & Parts Dept to get one. I assume I will have to pay extra for it. I'm going to try and get one before I assemble mine. If you want to see what it looks like search YT with full name of product and add "new part".

I just called Customer Service, gave them the approximate date of purchase, and they are sending me the gutter t no charge! Give them a call and this will, hopefully, solve your water issue.
