Peggy's music makes me want to caress myself with lotion and fight the cops at the same time. Also, legendary talk at the end on not judging hip hop as musical projects on solely their lyrics, rap and hip hop puts a ton of emphasis on the lyrics because it's the core (in my opinion) of what makes hip hop what it is, but it's also music at the end of the day and music is not *just* lyrics. People can enjoy any song for any reason, some songs have really bad instrumentals but amazing lyrics and vice versa and anyone can choose to like them or not as music. People also can not enjoy a song for bad lyrics but they shouldn't act like that's a definitive reason why the music is objectively bad, calling it bad for it's lyrics is subjective. Lyrics are important of course, I listen to mostly hip hop after all and i enjoy deep and introspective and socially critical lyrics, but I also enjoyed Lil Jon screaming "YEAH" on a beat lol. At the end of the day just cause you don't like an album for reasons, doesn't mean other people can't enjoy it for other reasons. Simple as that. Anyways that's my two cents that aren't worth a damn, have a good day ya'll.

and just know (as im sure your metrics tell you), that your love for the MUSIC and details and the way you paint yourself into it overrides the experience and is WHY you're so fun to watch. Lyrical sticklers can be so overbearing when they act like you're doing it wrong by not studying every syllable from day one.

found your shit this week. watched all your reactions and cant wait for more :3 you gotta GOTTA react to The Unseen by Quasimoto. fun raps and so many amazing samples with a cohesive theme even through to the sequel album :3 it's like flipping through the vinyl collection of a rapping alien

I agree 110% about lyrics!! I thought i was the only person who felt this way! I feel like the music + the lyrics adds to the whole thing! The "big picture" if you will. I DON'T CARE IF IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE

Was just rewatching some old Dis-Cover episodes and realised you pull out a DOOM record in the intro! And now you've finally done Madvillainy I'll continue to recommend Titanic Rising until you do it, but if you want hip hop a great album is Room 25 by Noname
