Produce PUNK ROCK using only VIRTUAL INSTRUMENTS. No real instruments allowed!

You always challenged me to make a punk rock song using only virtual instruments. So this time, no real guitars, basses or drums were allowed.
I used only virtual instruments… VSTs… AUs… you know… good old plugins to make a full pop punk song!
Thanks so much for my friend at UJAM for providing Virtual Drummer Heavy, Virtual Bassist Rowdy and Virtual Guitarist Iron 2 for this video!

You can literally make better music than a lot of people without even touching an instrument. This is insane

Nailed it yet again, julian. Really dug it. You did a great job of being able to fill in any gaps in the midi sample using additional "micro tracks" with different processing. Clever and a big time saver. You have skills 👍🏻

Thanks so much Craig! I did my best… got a video coming out soon that’s the completely opposite to this technique. No virtual instruments at all! Hahahah

Tim Henson Pink and Nolly are the best Neural DSP guitar plugins for Pop Punk. This is from a guy who has used Amplitube, STL tones, and many more for a long time.

i think the reason it sound robot is because everything is exactly on beat, humans aren't perfect and 4+ people aren't all gonna keep the exact same tempo

People rave about how DAWs make music making more accessible. But in reality without people like you, it isn't nearly as accessible. Thanks for the video! 💜
