U can use both the adjustment to get the best View possible , yu will see clear image for sure , using a bigger smartphone will be good .

makes sense..animated videos are looking fine, but real life videos are quite pixilated. Since this is my first vr experience hence was not sure.

Well I did say that the G3 does not have a gyro, which is exactly what the app checks for. :( I was asking about a VR headset which would be able to counter such a hardware limitation.

NO, Procus one, Irusu Playvr both have opening at edges, mobiles with cameras like oneplus , k4 and many other mobiles cameras can't be used. Better go for open ended VR headsets like Irusu Minivr or Ant VR. they support AR in full. Hope the info helps.
