    I spend way too much time judging how long something takes; "I suck, I’m stupid, etc.". Your video has validated how hard it is to animate well. Thank you! 👏👏👏

    Hi! To anyone asking how to enable background and foreground option for procreate: just go to actual layers of artwork(not just animation assist bar but in the artwork layers itself) and make the layer u want for background literally the first one. Same for foreground make the foreground desired layer literally the last one in the artwork. Its probably said somewhere but my adhd didnt like the whole process of searching😭 hope its helpful!

    Thank you so much for your tuts! I’m learning a lot from you. The only question I have regarding this tutorial is: the shadow you painted on the ball rotates around with the ball. How would we keep that on the bottom of the ball? New layer, reference the ball layer, paint shadow on new layer. Rinse repeat for each rotation?

    The grouping issue happens to me all the time. It's because you accidentally still had a lower layer also selected. If you look at the group thumbnail it has three items in it and it snapped to the primary layer's location.

I have procreate 5x on my ipad and am trying to set the first image as my background in the animation as you describe but it is not giving me that option. Is that because I am using the 5x version? Excellent and it made things a lot clearer. My only issue is that the shading/noise on the ball rotates with the ball rather than acting as shadow on the left. How could this have been corrected.

  • @BeeJayDeL

    @BeeJayDeL

    4 жыл бұрын

    Thanks for watching! So- that was just a quick example...to correct that, you would have to add the shadow on a separate layer after the ball is rotated to each frame of animation after it is placed (which would have extended the length of the video considerably, lol!)
