Just to clarify. Veldora is the STORM dragon, the one in the story was the CHAOS dragon. Also, the hero sealed veldora. And Milim sealed the chaos dragon.

@@AnimeDateNightyes, actually Eren and her friends came horse riding all the way from Blumund Kingdom three days and nights non stop in order to reach Rimuru. The merchants and adventurers stationed in Tempest were sent back by Rimuru through a temporary portal he created. This detail was not specified in the Anime but part of the forces located in the West had the objective to eliminate any human witness of the war crimes committed by Falmuth. Eren and company speed run through them in order to reach Tempest.

So the anime does a poor job of explaining it, but Mjuran had no idea that there would be an attack. Mjuran just thought she was cutting off communications to stop tempest helping Eurozania. In fact, Mjuran believed that if she didnt do the barrier then Clayman would attack Tempest. Mjuran literally thought she was protecting Tempest (and more importantly to her, protecting Yuom)
