I guess they figure no need to prep, just turn her up to 180 amps or so and burn right through the rust and crap! I honestly believe they can weld paper thin metal with a stick welder.

I love how they throw everything on the ground in between each step in the manufacturing process. I'm betting it's because the ground is flat, and they use it to chack their work as they go. That's how they can achieve such amazing precision. 👏

With out a doubt the cleanest best all around shop i have ever seen. Everyone takes great pride to make sure proper care in welding, cleaning, safety, is ensured. The proper use of new clean grease to make sure no dust, or sand could cause a bearing failure. I understand why we didn’t get to see the machine in operation.

Why building it clean when you don't install any sealings for the bearings, so the grease will work for a week than water and mud will provide the lubrication!

Just as much dirt in the bearings as there is grease. There in such an all fire hurry to get it done. If they took a little more time it sure would look and probably last longer. A tremendous amount of that cleanup could be done on the lathe. The lathe operator needs to learn feeds and speeds. He’d never get near my lathe until he had some lessons. Still love to watch. So they not know what concrete floors are? lol

So that is convenient for greasinh the durability of the bearing Allhua'alam bis'sawaf.

Там явно местный всё проектировал, всё с кандибоберами, зато концы валов барабанов с мизинец заебенили, всё досталось промежуточному, он с тройным запасом. Адская колесница.

Hackery at its finest. If I haven’t seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t believe it it’s just creative beyond imagination. How can you even trust this apparatus just by the shotty welding it’s a wonder these guys still have their eyes to see with incredible OHSA would just love this,They sure do love their stick welding. I wonder if they’re using even the right sticks to weld with they sure good at recycling that’s for sure in the end I would just love to see how long this apparatus actually last you should do a video of this in action because it doesn’t mean anything if it works that’s a different story.

Not bad considering it's all 2nd hand steel. After watching them fit bearings, I felt like sending them a hydraulic press. I wonder how much they charged for that job.

Cutting and welding without any kind or shield or goggles? Or basic gloves...Yes I see the occasional hand held one, but in some he is looking though his fingers! It blows my mind. Not a grinder anywhere. I cringe with amazement and admire their skills.

While I applaud their resourcefulness, sourcing used bearings and scrap metal, not a single seal or even a grease fitting! That BTW is not how you pack a bearing with grease, I guess labor is cheap enough to have it torn down and all the bearings cleaned and re-greased 2-3 times a year.

Not a lot of fancy tooling to make this Goliath but looks great and i will bet it works great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love listening to the minions work, havn't see stuart yet.....

But they are not working safely end clean everything they made they trough to the floor. They are working on sandals non-steel toe boots, no uniform, no safety glasses it is a calamity.

Keep scrolling down the comments. There are two links to videos that show this type of intermittent winch operating in sandy country. Its a slow process, but works well in soft soil where there is water above bedrock.

Because they put their phone number on the machine. Any little maintenence tasks are just a phone call away. The Junior Mechanic rides out there on his bicycle with a big tub of grease, disassembles the shaft in a jiffy with his spanner and steel hammer, greases the bearings and whacks them back in place again, *_"Job Done."_*

Я за всё время , только одного видел с прямым электродом, видать ещё не достоин пока. У них и в маске варить, это в наказание.

*Easy* As they're loading the brightly painted machine onto the delivery truck, you can see two phone numbers quite clearly. If one doesn't answer, try the other one. Simple.

Just imagine what they could do with good equipment, having said that paint hides a multitude of sins.

It's a bit complicated to explain, but these are basically intermittent winches (a motor must be added) that raise a steel tube with a ball-valve at the bottom end to act as a sand trap. The tube is raised up high on a gantry, then allowed to drop into sandy soil, slowly "drilling" itself into the ground. The tube is emptied from time to time until eventually water is reached.

Why are you working on the floor, and everything you made you put on the floor. The floor is dirty. I think you have to build tables to work clean. Also, if you need to work safely you need steel-toe boots if you work in a mechanic shop you need to be clean and safe.

That's an absolutely HUGE lathe there. Looks like its been around since Christ was born. Never saw this machine in operation or for that matter even set up to do something. Kinda disappointed with that.
