그나마 다행인 건 얼마 전에 국가 무형문화재로 지정되셨습니다. 그렇다고 엄청난 지원이 나오거나 하는 것은 아니지만... 요. ㅎ

직접 제혁을 하시진 않은듯싶고 Liming해서 unhairing 상태의 나피를 가죽공장에서 구매해오시는가 보네요. 첫공정이 탈회(deliming)공정인듯 싶고 원피의 크기나 등급등 여러요소를 보고 선별해 오시겠지요? 예전 귀동냥으로 들은 얘기로 장고같은 경우에는 개가죽을 썼었다고 하던데 좋은 자료화면이네요.

it's so hard to watch this man work on the lathe while wearing gloves. I know splinters in your fingers kinda suck, but keeping your fingers feels like its worth it. Imagine if that glove snagged on something. boom instant amputation.
