@_a7525 テレビで一時話題になったボブクレーマーの包丁ですね。 しかし何をもって世界最高峰とするのは難しいところではないでしょうか。価格と希少性だけ見ればおっしゃる通りですが。 レプリカを制作してるツヴィリングJ.A.ヘンケルスの岐阜県関市の工場で使用されている鋼材は高度63の「マイクロカーバイドMC63ステンレススチール 」。硬度63の鋼材です。切れ味を追求するなら青紙スーパーの硬度65～67のほうが切れ味は上です。 日本の場合、割烹や料亭の料理人たちは硬度にこだわらず、食材に合わせて青紙や硬度の低い白紙を使い分けるそうです。とくに刺身を切る和包丁には白紙が主流だといいます。要するに和包丁とは調理する食材に合わせて使い分けることができ、毎日の研磨で料理人の研ぎの技術向上にも寄与できる包丁が最上ともいえます。 何を最高とするかは国や食材、調理方法により変わるものです。

아주 오래전에 사범생활도 해봤고 스포츠신문 기자도 했었습니다. 몇군데 취재해 봤는데, 역시 대한민국은 검의 나라는 아니에요. 인터뷰 가보면 남을 까는건 정말 잘하고, 칼이 쓸만한건 글쎄요.... 대만이나 중국처럼 많이 만들어 봐야 느는데, 소비가 안되니 생산을 통한 자기 개발이 거의 불가능 하고, 안타까운게 현실입니다. 장식을 주로 하던 분들은 진검의 외적인 부분만 파고들고, 칼날을 조금 만져 보신 분들은 진검의 장식 하는 분들만 까는 상태였죠. 10여년이 훨씬 지나 20여년이 다되어 가는데.... 인터뷰 하던 당시 도검장들...... 어느 정도 성과는 이루었으면 합니다. 장식 이쁜 쇠몽둥이 만드시는 분이 시장에 없어지고 제대로 만드시는 분만 남았으면 하는 바람이 듭니다. 아 이분의 진검은 만져보지 못했음에 그 어떤 평가도 내린 수는 없습니다. 제대로 된 진검이라면 휘둘렀을때 무게 중심이 첫번째요. 힘은 전달하고, 진동은 흡수 하는 기능이 두번째요. 대나무 50단을 쳐도 날 손상이 덜한 내구성이 세번째라 봅니다. 부디 이분은 제대로 된 진검을 만드셨으면 합니다. ...... 이젠 슬슬 제대로 만드시는 분들이 결실을 맺으셨으면 합니다.

I am a korean, and i know this sword is not a korean style. The shape of the handle, the shape of the blade, both are japan style. Korea was well known for bow, not Swords. Our korean swords were narrower, and we our sword handle does not look like that. NONE of we koreans think this is an korean traditional sword, and we dont even want to claim this sword is our tradition. This video's title did not said this is an korean traditional swords. I don't know why some of you guys are mad

Fully agreed. I dunno why the Koreans do not try to promote their glorious history of "bows and arrows" to the world instead of fabricating nonexistent history of "Korean sword" or something very often. Incidentally, Ernst J. Oppert observed that sword was not a usual weapon for Korean soldiers at all, saying “Common soldiers hardly ever wear swords. Only officers and mandarins of higher rank are armed with such of JAPANESE make, but they are all OLD and RUSTY. It is more likely that these also were brought into the country by the Japanese, and were left behind on their withdrawal." (cited from “A Forbidden Land: Voyages to the Corea”)

@@lupimali9504 we actually do promotes our bows, and in result, korean bows are considered one of the best within the people who shoots traditional recurve bows Among with turkish bows. Swords are not in our interests.

Actually korean sword were broader, less curved and shorter than katana. Similar to Chinese saber, with only the hand guard and sword hander similar to the japanese design albeit shorter for 1 handed use only. Katana are curved and tapered towards the tip, korean swords are mainly same width from base to tip.

@@user-oy8gj9jb3c Actually Korea's medieval sword 'Hwando' and Chinese saber was influenced by Mongol's heritage... having a curved shape Before Mongol's conquest in 13th century, Korean's usually used straight sword named as 'Hwandudeado' (Other East Asian neighborhoods, also used similar style swords, until they adapted Nomadic sabers from the North.)

One thing that puzzled me about the handle construction is not have a full skin wrap. The whole point of the stingray skin is to be soaked and left of the handle to dry. As it shrinks, it tightens around the wood and serves as a very strong to keep the handle from cracking. In this video, the gentleman basically did what we call in the west “Samegawa panels”, which really only accomplish aesthetics without the real benefit of a skin wrap. Can anybody help me with this? PS, yes before you tell me, I know that the Jingum and Katana are different swords. I love both, and I’d just like to know if this is a traditional practice for the Korean sword?

저렇게 재철소에서 만들어진 질 좋은 철로 만든 칼이 옛날 사철이나 여러가지 잡철을 모아 사용해 만든 철괴등 부족한 제련기술로 만들어져 대나무를 치다가도 부러지고 뼈때려 부러지고..여하튼 잘부러져 여러 자루를 들고 다녔다는 어떤 칼보다도 훨씬 더 강력한 칼이라는게 진심 알겠네요

여하튼 여러자루 가지고 다닌것은 실내용 실외용 정도로 생각하시면 됩니다 일본도가 잘 부러지기 시작한 역사가 있긴한데 그게 일본도의 역사는 아니죠 잘 만들덩ㄴ 시대도 길었음 일본도가 잘 부러지기 시작한 역사는 저온재련 방법에서 조선의 고온재련법으로 가마에서 대량생산 하고 시작할때라고 하던데

Traditional Korean swords are not soaked in oil. They are soaked in water by experienced masters. Unskilled technicians break or twist when immersed in water.

日本刀と言うブランドはただの鉄板ナイフに高級感を与える事が出来るから、ネットで良く売られて居るやつですね。

사포에 칼을 갈때 불꽂이 튀기면서 엄청난 열이 발생하는데 칼의 재질에 영향을 많이 줄듯.......

刀というなら最悪 ペーパーナイフならGOOD

@@user-jh6ok1ms3y どうなるかって？　焼き戻しをしていないから刃こぼれするよ。 あと、発生した残留応力を除去していないから歪みも出る。 つまり硬度の低い物を叩き斬る分には問題無いが、同等もしくはそれ以上の物だと不具合が生じる。 というか、そもそもこれは刀身も拵えも実戦を想定して作られていない。

神聖な刀剣じゃないけど、韓国製模擬刀剣を作るのためには、鑑賞用向けのために安くなるかも。日本で正しい技術だと思います。研磨師をいないらしいだと、ガスをあまり、危ないだと感じて分かる。武士の魂は韓国製模擬刀剣をあまり宿ってないけど無理でした。ただの模擬刀剣だったね。

@_a7525 詳しいですね、大丈夫だと思って、工業用砥石を安いけど大丈夫だと思う。研磨師は生活用包丁などを磨きてでもいいだと思うよ。それは常識ですね。だから、プロ研磨師の目👀を鍛え上げて分かる。いい刃を危ないだと感じて下さい。日本で正しい刀剣を作るの方法動画を見えてお願いします。日本人より

You are not wrong. A knife is a short sword. A sword is a long knife. It's all relative, based on your point of view.

日本からみています。 日本刀の製作方法と比べて拝見していましたが日本での伝統的な作成法と制約のある刀の作り方と比べて焼き入れなど現代的なアプローチで作刀していて面白かったです。 出来れば最初の刀としての形状を粗く製作している初めから見たかったです。

Japanese invaded Korea multiple times so of course there are influences. But do not forget that Japanese culture itself was strongly influenced by Chinese and Korean culture before Edo era.

After all, Korean culture or something is supposed to be included in the cultural sphere of China. (cf. "The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order" by Samuel P. Huntington) In a word, any kingdoms including Baekje in the Korean peninsula had been a mere "pathway" between each Chinese dynasty and ancient Japan. In the first place, Baekje itself had been a ethnically diverse state, and there were various ethnic groups in it those days. "The Book of Sui, vol.81： Biographies 46, the Dongyi; Baekje (隋書 巻八十一 列傳第四十六 東夷 百濟条)" says as follows: "*Ancestors of Baekje people were descended from Gogryeo people. Baekje is a ethnically mixed region, where there are various peoples from Shilla, Gogryeo, WA (ancient japan), and Chinese as well*" (百濟之先, 出自高麗國. 其人雜有新羅, 高麗, 倭等, 亦有中國人.) @@charliebowen5071 I'd like to check it with a file. looks to me like he hardened the whole thing, softened the edge / middle and then hardened just the edge. ending up with a hard back soft middle and a hard edge. I don't know how he kept the oil bath from catching on fire but it's an interesting idea. I bet theses guys did not go into battle with soft edged swords. I just find it interesting that they found a different way to get that hard/soft/hard blade. proof there is more than one way to skin a cat

This is not a Japanese sword. It’s a fake one made by Korean.

funnily enough, koreans always make anything cultural closer to japanese products whenever they "recreate" korean ones. indeed, something the koreans reproduced and the japanese originals look very much alike. moreover, koreans will usually add a subtle touch to the ones they recreated, and claim that "hey, take a good look at the one, this part is different from the japanese original."

えっと…これくらいなら俺にもできるけど大丈夫？なんならこれよりマシなモノができるけど…😅 タイトルに日本刀とは書いてないのが唯一の正解だなw 日本刀作成に比べればおままごとに見えるwそれを真剣にやってるんだからあっぱれだw 私が言いたいのは、高技術なことをしていないのにどうしたらドヤ顔で「素晴らしい韓国の○○」なんてタイトルに書けるのかが疑問なだけ だって日本の職人でこの動画見て何回かやったら出来るよ？ ちなみに前提として韓国にも良いものがあるのは知っています。
