Do not present more documents than those asked by the officer. Just present the exact documents as asked. Otherwise, you can be sent to a waiting room.

Hello Evylynn Since you mentioned an immigration officer question about "where will you be staying" or something like that. Is it okay to take an AirBnB for a few days as a first time student in Canada before going for final accommodation search / confirmation ? This is because I heard that the Immigration Officer can ask for a proof of address and contacts if needed (if the situation becomes sus), And I want to do a tour of few more properties in a week before confirming and moving into one i.e., after arrival. Therefore is it safe to provide AirBnB or the hotel address being my only accommodation during initial week.

Hi Evelynn I will be a high school exchange student in September and I got my student visa but I didn't get my study permit do I have to apply for it before entering Canada or will they give it to me at the port of entry. In IRCC website it says that you should apply for a study permit outside of Canada. You will get that in GC key account or your agent will be having access to that. Visa stamping same time letter of entry upload in system

Hi, there is no embassy of Canada in Cambodia. I applied and got it from Bangkok. I actually contacted idp, they did everything for me, I suggest you to reach out to idp as well.

I didn’t need any visa Normally, connecting flights do not need any visas as you just stay at the airport and not check nor coming out

I m all set to go to Canada next month probably, my college starts in September and I still haven’t received my study permit yet , got my letter of introduction, visa and everything else way earlier . As far as I hve heard , the study permit will be given to us by the immigration officer at the Canadian airport after he asses us by asking us some questions relating to our study and intention here . So don’t worry about that , u will definitely get it when u reach Canada 😊

@@renren6685 Hello Ren Ren - my daughter has the same problem. We applied for Study Permit in May/June, BUT still haven't received the QR code for the airport to scan to process Study Permit?? But please clarify for me the way you are implying is that we can get STUDY PERMIT AT THE AIRPORT?? Never heard of it. I think that is what you meant that FIRST we need to get an answer of qualification from Immigration office FIRST before custom at the Airport (in our case is Montreal).

the enrollment letter you can find under your student account if you apply for Humber you will have the student account and password to log in from that you can view under "student record" and print them
