You are absolutely correct about the self-righting. The blue hydroplane has the best performance of any boat I have ever had but it's not worth it 😒. Just about anything will flip it over and it makes for a frustrating day on the water.

You have to turn these boats to the right, theyre only meant to turn 1 way, that's why they have that 1 fin on the right side. It will turn left, but they turn twice as good turning right.

I want the buy a new boat, but i can't decide wich one, my favorite is the Proboat miss Geico 36, but i read from many people have broken hulls when the boat flips, i would love to buy that boat but is expensive to break it. The other two options are the sonicwake, looks good and is selfrighting what i dont like is the plastic hull, and my last option is the fiber carbon mini dom, fast, strong but small. Wich one you thing is the best that i can buy. Thanks!!

Sonicwake is a great all round boat. Plastic hull is fine and the self-right feature is awesome

Yeah, That looks like a typical Unlimited boat crash

That proboat impulse was running really wet. change that prop angle a bit and you'll get that thing screaming across the top of the water in no time.

@@RCTanksTrucks247 Not a problem. If you are so inclined please check out my channel for RC videos. I have some air screw driven 3 point Hydros that you may be interested in. Basically they are 3 point Hydros driven by an airplane propeller. An airboat on steroids.

Watched my Traxxas Spartan drift away today. Couldn't rescue it and water was too cold to endanger myself.
