no, lets take Germany as a country. 1. They have more clear english accent even if they speak German. 2. Most universities have International Cuisine 3. Taxi fares aren't illiterate like in India and don't charge extra only because they are foreigners and so on and on

Mess food is Disgusting. I do agree with foreign students in that. I'm Indian.

Poor international students They should provide them with some less spicy or western food according to their palate I can imagine they pay a higher fee at the university at least they should make some effort to keep them comfortable and make the feel home away from home

TRYPHINE CLARA DZIMBANETE where is the international student counsellor if present what the hell is he doing as part of his job . I can understand their feeling because I’m was an Indian student in western countries and I was looked after well by my university and they helped us with any issues we had regarding accommodation food study or security . We had someone to go to complain like the international counsellor if we were not happy with the services provided and they made sure the complaints were resolved and made us feel home away from home and give us a smooth comfortable easy life so we can focus on study so we don’t fail and repay those large amount of fees as international students Hence I can feel their pain as international students

Exactly the way it is in USA. Not surprised why our education system rots!

India has 1000s of non spicy dishes ...they can even arrange a cook to cook for say 100 foreign students ..some easy foods like sandwich, burger, that are homemade and very very low cost too. There are 1000s of non spicy indian dishes that these students can enjoy too. Best bet is to take then college cook for a walk the talk , break the ice with him, probably give him a drink or treat him a nice meal on a weekend....the cook will start listening to the sensitive needs of foreign students. Biggest advantage in india is everything is flexible here.

Many countries without " adithi devo bava "policy treat foreigners much better . many of us are nice but many are hypocrites in india . Is there a policy to make guests welcome in our country especially nowadays ? . We have a long way to go as indians and first step is not to be hypocrites and practice what we preach . Maybe the current government can do something too as they market indian culture and lets make a policy so that foreigners are happier here .

Even Indians also don't like hostel food 🤢🤢 I miss my home very much

The University and Indian students need to step up massivley to help International students in settling in properly. It’s so rude tgo be having discussions in Hindi when you know full well that International students will not be able to participate or understand. The arrogance, ignorance and racism of Indian’s is shameful and disgusting. (I’m Indian by the way).

Why don't they provide them with language lessons????

Thank you for such an informative video. Being the host, it our responsibility to take care of the International guests who have graced us by choosing Indian institutes. Have many friends from Ghana, Nigeria and China. They too face similar problems in my university. Please continue to upload such contents so that we can be well informed about the problems faced by the fellow International student guests so that we, as a responsible hosts at least try to make sure that no one is facing such basic problems like : diet, language etc. Thank you once again.

Secondly, yeah Sharda is a great University, but the thing is that I'm not from there, I'm a student of another university. Ohh... Being Indian I have to insist in restaurants for low spices. For hostel mess there must be a protocol for cooks. They just shouldn't make food the Indian way. Especially avoid asafoetida, garlic, onion, coriander in anything and everything. Teachers, even for casual chat in classroom must speak English.

Hostel food issue should be in parliament.

is american and british students come in india for studies?

Dude taxi and rixa wala can fool us too so always know local price, regard of food even for Indians hostel food suck, so learn to cook. Please learn Hindi or other language just like we learn English. Last make some Indian friends they will help you for everything.

Why foreigners downgrade themselves to come here? I suggest them to study in usa for best environment, best learning. Dont destroy your future

Why these universities r not caring for the hostel food given to foreign students,they r not habitual of such spicy food.

It is difficult to get a sim registered in your name for students from open border countries like Nepal and Bhutan. We don't have aadhar card and there is no visa stamp in our passports. We are unable to buy sim card in india and become contactless

afghaniyo ko india aane se pehle se hi hindi aati hai......baki dusre issues hai jaha universities ko dhyan dene ki zarurat hai... ..ya toh aap foreign students ko naa bulaye...aur agar bulaye toh unke liye facilites rakhe.....dhnyawad Era poudel ye video banane k liye..

Its not that the indians dont know english most of us are fluent but we just prefer hindi if you ask them to they will speak english with you and abt everything else you should talk to admin and wardens

But I can understand their language well. Indians in such universities need to step up and try to help the international students. I think it's not too difficult to understand Tham if we tell them to speak slow English and we reduce the usage of Hindi and other regional languages when they are around as much as possible. And yes atithi devo bhabo

North Indian food is spicy. South Indian food is not spicy. Go to any South Indian restaurant if you want less spicy food. Northeast Indian food is exotic & rare. Only available in Northeast India.
