Netmarble needs to STOP cramming characters together for awakening skills when the groupings don’t make sense. It’s so lazy. The first few (warriors of the sky, secret empire, sinister six) made sense, but then we started getting into unrelated characters and now we’re at the point where literal enemies are being crammed together as people cooperating. Just stop it.

It seems like AO was supposed to be a lead for Wanda, but they forgot Wanda was Universal. They need to make her leadership all allies rather than blast allies. That + elemental damage for Wanda would be epic.

The sneak peek was made by the sneak peek team, who seem to be the guys who care the most. The T3 animation is made by the actual game devs who have gotten lazy or are extremely under-resourced/over-worked.

The T3 animation is a direct reference to the first Doctot Strange movie. In the scene when the Ancient One explains to Starange that they draw energy from the other dimensions to make magic, she casts exactly the same spell she does in her T3 animation.

The changes of 1 and 2 are from her old animations. Those of 4 are from IW Strange's 4, changes of 3 are from Space Strange's 4 and the ground circles of 5 are from Space Strange's 1. Nothing is new

I would have much prefered Green Goblin T3 or a Synergy uni for Doctor Strange, instead of this. Also, Hope to see Rage Reforged in the next full update.

We lost 20% of our alliance members leaving the game,since this calendar year. Another 10% sgopped spending, not even starks stash.The updates in 2022 HAVE been really bad. The questionnaire they had a few month back was so completely out of touch with the actual issues in the game. MFF devs don't listen to their player base and seem clueless as in they do not play the game.

I have zero expectation of this update so I have zero disappoint on it.

It really feels like they are trying to T3/transcend the rest/most of the rest of the roster is larger batches...focusing on only a small handful where they are doing re-works and the rest are just blah or a waste. Makes me wonder if they are working on something like a T4 later in the year in order to compete with the increased power levels they have mentioned for WBL. OR there is no reasoning for what they are doing and their blindly T3ing/transcending characters just to do it. Either way...Im glad alex does these videos...saves me a bunch of crystals.

It was a little different, but for T2 it got super easy to get everyone ranked up because T2 materials and tickets were plentiful. They also started rushing out T2s just to get everyone done and a LOT were crap. That might be what we are starting to see here but I think the difference is that probably 75% of players don't have all eligible characters at T3 or Transcended. Story Mode helped with T3 mats but we still don't get enough Awakening materials to keep up with the new ones coming out so doing a T4 now seems premature. Unless they REALLY REALLY want to make a money grab.

Watching Beast's video, I'll say Mordo is comparable to Wong in terms of DPS!

I’m getting sick of super old characters getting transcendences and no uniform, while simultaneously getting characters with new uniforms and no transcendence/T3. It’s a lose lose situation.

Yeah. When Wong getting uniform, some players complain about it. Instead they keep asking synergy uniform for Strange (i know it wll be interesting too, but hey, Wong deserves more than Strange)

For Mordo, revamp. Add 2 energy skills and give him the magic/mystic tag.

1. Ancient One herself doesn't do any elemental damage hence can't use her own buff. 2. We shouldn't look to always cancel the ultimate skill......like it is called the ultimate skill for a reason(no one wants to cancel Sharon's 6th) 3. Her tags are leadership and support, she wasn't meant for main damage dealing. If she can deal close to Emma or Psylocke level then great !! 4. I don't really care about the t3 animation 5. Mordo skills had to be upto the devs imagination as he literally does just one attack in the trailers(updates are based on trailers, not movies) 6. Devs not really wanting to give any support/heal in the strikers list doesn't make any sense.

If the ancient one leadership applies to all allies then it will be worth buying her cause the blast type element damage characters are very few. Mordo skill should be cancelable so the hits will increase and damage also. His 3rd skill should be cancelable and also be changed as buffs and as animation.

I watched Beast Mode's vid on these 2 characters earlier today and he had some pretty good success with them on various stages. He had to work on the rotation but eventually was clearing high level Knull and Mephisto with Obelisks. I T3'd Ancient One for the Buff/Lead because I need a Blast to help push WBL a bit more.

@@adnannaemaz1989 Well I mean take the vid with a grain of salt I guess but you can look at the build, team comp, rotation, etc and judge from there. I am not saying these 2 slap harder than Strange or anything. Just that they don't suck completely and there is a little bit of delay canceling you can do to stack hits on a proc. Just worth checking out imo

Quite new to this game, only been here a few months, but i noticed this like many other games were trying to make more characters relavant by simply giving updates to buff them. Which isnt a bad thing, but this creates some kind of expectation and it doesnt make sense. I started when they released infinity ultron and i swore everyone and their mother thought he was the best unit till 2 weeks later he got shafted by another unit and so on and so forth. Kinda spoiling the game with this pattern

@@knee2fight4love66 Ahh, yes, that can be a problem, but the good news is that there’s a counterintuitive solution here. The trick is to largely ignore the meta at first (save for a couple few characters built specifically to compete in Timeline), and focusing on rounding out the rest of your roster (even if they’re not currently meta) Once you got the bulk of your roster at least playable, you’ll be clearing high level Shadowland (which in turn earns you resources to help fine-tune your heavy hitters). Once you got your PVP team primed, you’ll start earning more crystals weekly, which eventually starts kicking over & making it easier to keep on top of the meta. Not going to lie though, this takes at least a year even if you know all the right moves; and even then, it’s still a struggle for another year after that. I’ve been here three, and it’s only now that I can say that I’m actually hitting what I’d like to call “cruising speed”.

I think these veteran/whale account players sometimes forget what the normal game looks like for the rest of us. They always seem to judge everything from a max value top of food chain perspective. Not everyone cares or needs this. In fact, I’d say these videos tend to be more for whales and near maxed out veterans. This does not represent most of the community.

I think Phoenix Echo is better leader for Mephisto.

If they just slipped in a decent Goblin T3 it would have helped a lot.

This update should have been branded as specifically "Rework Update Patch" and yes marvel future fight is pushing shit costumes to test buyer limits in conjunction with the Dr. Strange movie release. The 7th anniversary was really generous. Thank you. However it brings us back to the resource bottle neck issues

Actually, characters from the last update are chosen in story mode unless they were released 2 weeks before the story mode change. Gwen pool and Katy are in the current story mode even though they were released in 7.9 release.

LOL @ Alex ranting about the T3 special animation that most people only see when Alex shows us. No one cares about that second T3 animation Alex lol. Ancient's one T3 animation is gorgeous so i can see why they wanted to use it again. My main issue is that there are too many Awakened characters being released per update and we only get enough materials to awaken 1 when we get 3-5 per update. That does NOT encourage me to spend money to awaken. I have stopped awakening characters now and ONLY awaken when story mode change are announced.,

I HATE THIS MINI UPDATE IDEA! We used to get full well thought out updates. IF THEY ARE NOT GOING TO GIVE US FULL 2022 CHARACTER UPDATES CUT OUT SOME OF THE FLUFF AND PUT THEIR ATTENTION TOWARDS WHAT THEY CAN HANDLE. I HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR MONTHS….EVERYTHING THAT IS NOT MCU RELATED ABSOLUTELY BLOWS IN THIS GAME LATELY!!! Seriously! They used to absolutely kill it and it was rare when they had boring updates with uniforms that were mediocre and even then the uniforms at least gave the characters a use in the current game. NOW IT IS THE RECENT TREND FOR THEM TO GIVE US…a main update which may or may not be decent (most of the time it is a miss in my opinion…because they put all their attention into PAYWALL/CRYSTAL WALL CHARACTERS OR they only give us a two character update that is lacking in excitement)…… THEN THE SECOND UPDATE OF THE “MONTH” usually is one character that generally speaking has been an expensive character or paywall just going by the recent trend I’ve seen. Sure there was Hela update was cool…but when was the last strong free to play character during an update that doesn’t have more aggressive money hungry tactics compared to previous years (full priced unis, token unis, or the main character being Paywall/Crystal wall) that WASNT MCU related?? I was hoping for an awesome Baron Mordo update. Isn't he supposed to be Dr Strange's classic arch-nemisis? I'm not entirely familiar with his story and how powerful he should be. Never really got into the 'magic' type characters in the comics. Perhaps a non-MCU classic comic overhaul for him is needed.

Mordo and Clea I understand but what's the point of Ancient One and Kaecilius, where do they fit in? They haven't featured anywhere in years. Sure they need reworks after a while but it just doesn't fit in right now. Green Goblin didn't even get a T3 after an entire second NWH update, how the hell does any of this make sense? This is what happens when the B Team is tasked with updates. I’ll be nice and suggest maybe they had illnesses that hindered them. It’s obvious they didn’t consult, or listen to the testers who actually play and understand the game. Not to mention perhaps a little overzealous in their predictions for Multiverse of Madness. What a BIG missed opportunity this was.

Instant cancel 2,1,4,3,5 for A1 If you wanna see "hits" in skill preview

Mordo should get an accumulation and make 5 cancellable. That'd make them good.

If they did use the sneak peek animation as ancient one's t3 advancement,then cynicalex will again be like - man this is lazy,they literally copy pasted the sneak peek animation 🤡

I remember the time when i thought Rogue's sneak peek will be her T3 animation. But in the end it doesn't happen.

Her leg was missing lol am I only one seen that her boot there but no leg

Mordos 5, 4 combo on proc does a lot of damage

Clea should have a uni . Strange needs to be change to the zombie look amd wanda needs to be a villain in this uni

Ancient One is actually OP online. I just got her to level 70. Right now she’s to me better than NWH Spider-Man and NWH Spider-Man was OP as hell.

A1 is confusing to me. Mordo serves a purpose in ac. But no magic tag? Its just not enough

ARGH was really hoping for something better for Clea. Not saying a uni, however that would be sweet, but man something. Poor woman never had a uni and now when she does get something it's lack luster at best.

And yet Ancient One is actually Powerful she can have more stats and more effects on her skills but Powerful still if she got a serious adjustment. She could be stronger than Doctor Strange. And let's be honest they probably don't want the protagonist of the movie to be weaker than side characters except Scarlet Witch who is Powerful also. But they all need a buff to all of them.

I dont know… everyone’s complaining but they are still going to be 2 upgrades to an update that we’ve so far had 3 massive upgrades for Dr strange, SW and America. An upgrade and T3 for wong. In every game the meta has to stay balanced, not every character is going to be a godly one shotter. However I will say, mordo’s skills really don’t look nice😭 and the the whole clea, mordo, kacellius shared transcendence skill thing is weird but im not mad abt that as it doesnt really change the future potential of characters, but clea should’ve got a uni (especially as she actually is in the film). Also Its also not that deep that Ancient One’s T3 isnt cancellable, it makes sense for every character to play differently even if it is annoying sometimes.
