I have the exact same machine, do you think 32” front tires will rub on stock rims? What make are your mirrors? Exactly video thank you for posting 🙂

Can’t say for sure, but normally less offset helps you clear better, which the stock wheels are - you should be fine. However, we’d suggest going to aftermarket wheels since the stock wheels are different widths front to rear. Would not recommend using 4+3 offset. The mirrors are Tusk brand and can be found at Rocky Mountain ATVMC.

It’s crazy how small the pro makes those tires look. Cause I know just how huge those 370 “32’s” are

We didn't think about it, but you're right. It does make them look smaller than they are. The stock 30"s just looked silly small. We think 32" is the right size for the Pro XP.

Thanks for the good review. Im thinking of replacing my 30" blackwaters with a set of these in 32". I see they are available for a 14" rim as well. I like my Tusk Teton beadlocks and dont want to buy new wheels if i dont have to. Any comment regarding 14" vs 15"?

You’re welcome. No reason you can’t stay with 14”, they’ll actually give your sidewall which will help in crawling situations. It’s also easier to find 14” tires in a pinch. The 14” weighs about .3# more, which isn’t much, but these are already heavy tires. We did end up installing an aftermarket assassins clutch kit with high load helix, which helped to get some some performance back.

Beadlocks will make it easier, but you’ll still have to break the inside bead on the old tires, which can be fun without a bead breaker. We use a $29 Harbor Freight tire changer that has a breaker built in and it makes life much easier.

Looking to replace the Maxxis on my Pro as well. I think I will still stick with 30s. But what rim size did you actually go with? I don't see any updated specs for the pro on their will they fit chart. I was going to do a simple front to back rotation on my maxxis tires, but that's when I learned the darn wheels were a different size.

Hello, I ordered a new set of beadlock 15” wheels and 32” xtr 370s for my pro xp. Not sure the offset but a little worried now. Hopefully they fit without rubbing, don’t really want to replace the a arms along with clutch kit and tuner as well

Ours are 5+2, more accurately 38mm, and zero rubbing with 32” XTR370s. We are now running the AA S3 clutch kit, but no tune. The kit did help, but your need will depend on how you ride. What wheels did you order?

  • @DirtyRoosterOffroad

It's holding up okay. We've had no issues in mud or slow crawling in low. I think the tires are a bit much for the stock clutch from a dig in high. There's not a lot of slip, but after a couple WOT pulls, we can smell the belt. Will likely be throwing the AA clutch kit in soon.

@@tyrelthibault5264 it’s all about what you want. Understand you love Carnivores, and that’s cool; my buddy does too. Here’s what we know after thousands of miles on 30” XTR-370s on 5 RS1s and 1 XP1K, and about 1500 miles on the 32s described in this video. 1. The machines still exceed our performance expectations for the riding we do (launch, accelerate, stop). 2. Only the XP1K and Pro XP required clutch work. 3. We’ve only had two flats. This is across 8 machines with close to 10k miles combined. Compared to one machine with 1K miles and 5 flats on Carnivores. We’re all riding the same terrain at similar speed. Pretty compelling. We’ll take durability over wheel speed all day. Again, we’re satisfied with the performance. 4. These tires grip everything, even when worn. 5. They do seem to wear a-arm bushings and ball joints faster, but that’s just a guess since we have no way to quantify it. We knew this going in, so it we were prepared to deal with it. If we were racing, this would not be the tire set up we’d choose. We’re not, and based on the thousands of miles we’ve put on these tires, everyone in our group that has them will be buying the same to replace them when they’re worn out (unless something better comes along). They’re great for what we do. The specs we provide are to help our viewers make their own decision. 18# is a lot; if that’s not what you want, this info should be useful in steering you away from these tires. Which I do believe has been accomplished. Again, thanks for the comments. The dialog is good for everyone that reads the comments on the videos; ultimately, more information gets shared this way.

@@tyrelthibault5264 I'd say that's somewhat of an unfair comparison because we're literally talking about one of THE lightest tires on the market, if not the lightest atm. I don't think there is one lighter with this tread pattern/style. So having said that I think the Carnivores are geared toward the weight weenies which is why I bought them to be completely honest.
