I always wanted to go see this in person ever since I seen Championship Ballroom Dancing on PBS. Where and when are the competitions?

I know that I'm in the minority, but I don't ascribe to "skin to win" for smooth/standard dances, or even overly so for rhythm/Latin dances. The outfit should enhance the dance - not distract from it (even in online viewing).

The dancing - and not the dancers' skin - should be polished! It is ridiculous, as well as very distracting from watching the dancing itself. This reminds me of the tin man's face in the original "The Wizard of Oz" movie.
