I have no idea why this videos title is made out to sound like someone is surrounded by struggling with issues? This dude Skates and makes art insanely well & is really balanced. It's not about someone battling mental illness or something like the videos title makes it out to be..

Coolest dude ever! Met him at brea skatepark with my stepbrother some years before the remodel and he was the chillest dude ripping at the park, everybody kinda just sat back and watched him rip it was sick

I just love Ryan's style on a skateboard. His art is like a marriage of graphic design, Warhol-esque pop art, and texture with his use of resins and other materials. It is very much aligned with his skating, and like his skating, has a tactile quality to it.

You should check out the artist Jay Riggio. To say he influenced Townley's art is an understatement, if you know what I mean.

Crazy to think that Ryan use to grow up around my area and my buddy was good friends with him and one day Ryan came over and he was easily one of the best around. Doesn’t surprise me one but he’s a ripper👊🏻
