She wrote this song and the entire album actually, but this particular song is based on her own experience when her fiance cheated on her. Heartbreaking song and she sings in such a beautiful way. She is beyond words. She's just truly the best!! Perfection at its BEST!!

I enjoyed this song, especially the message of the lyrics.

I thought you might react that way but, it merely demonstrates her talent as a song writer and vocalist. She would be far more well known had René Angélil not conspired with Céline's record label to obstruct her access to the USA market; they were terrified Lara would overshadow Céline. Lara is on par (if not superior) vocally to Céline, both hailed from Montreal at the time of penetration into the US market (early 1990s). However, Lara is a polyglot and has a great personality and brains, such that she did not require lines being prompted by a manager/boyfriend from offstage into an earpiece.

She is amazing artist, but so is Lara, and as you said, probably better!!! I have listened to Lara way, way more than I listened to Celine ❤️ She is the best for me and will always be 😍😍😍

I see many other fans were a bit disappointed with this reaction. I wasn't, even if that is one of my favorite Lara performances. Not everyone has the same sensitivity, and I definitely appreciate the honesty that makes the reaction genuine, rather than faking emotions. Furthermore, he did not criticize the performance, he just explained that it wasn't the kind of music that moves him. If you remember the reaction he made with his wife of Caruso, you could clearly see that it was much more compelling for her than for him, so this was to be expected.

@@dannytheswedishmusixian1513 "To Love Again" is the English version, she originally wrote it in French, called "Si Tu M'aimes", which a lot of us Lara fans actually prefer. They have different lyrics, she doesn't just translate the lyrics into another language. It's one of my favorite songs of hers and shows her rock side, which deserves more appreciation than it gets. So you have your choice of languages on this one!

Other than it is a beautiful song covered by many, with heart renching truthful words, telling a storyarc that is archetypically human, performed at masterclass level, sung to her usual near perfection and finally, she wrote the song. Other than that it was uninspiring.

Yeah, many times it’s the owner of the video content that blocks the videos even though the music is ok to use so it might not have been up to the band. It’s blocked in like 246 countries or something like that. I really liked it though 😊👍🏻

Not sure why would you keep choosing songs that you don’t like 🤷🏻‍♀️. Lara definitely doesn’t need anyone to validate her greatness as a performer. She earned her place in the hall of fame long time ago 😊 Choosing that kind of music and remaining motionless and numb to it will just alienate people, hence negative thumbs 🤔 We get, you don’t like that kind of music, you really don’t need to prove it over and over.
