SLOVAKIA'S pro-Putin prime minister Robert Fico has been shot in the stomach in an assassination attempt.
The politician, 59, is now in a life-threatening condition in hospital after he was attacked leaving a government meeting.

We are not used to such acts of violance in our small country. Slovak people are usually anti-war and anti-violance but the current rhethoric of the progresive movement in our country is fueling the flames of division and hate for month now and this is the result. The 71 year old attacker was a progresive writter, and here you can see where they are willing to go if they disagree with what you say. They tried to assasinate the democratically elected Prime Minister cause he has a different world view. And Media groups like The Sun are misrepresenting the facts and use labeling terms to slander a Slovak man = Prime Minister that was shot.

Veru svetová hanba, po 5 výstrelov sa zobudila 8chranka..v9bec ho n3chranilu, bola mimo priestor, kde sa nachádzal Fico. Hanba, je to na basu aj tým ktorí toto vyberali za OCHRANKAROV a robili výcvik. Neprípustné. Ja sa za toto hanbím a je mi toho uto. Hrozí tiu občianska vojna, pokiaľ to pán premiér neprežije. Considering Putin has had 12 attempts on his life I think it’s more of a dictator problem…I can’t remember the last time a British prime minister was assassinated and the US had JFK obviously back in the early 60’s but ultimately this isn’t a problem suffered in democracies. When democracy can’t work because opposition are poisoned or imprisoned the people are driven to doing things like this in order to be heard…the moral of the story is don’t oppress your people…

I strongly condemn this horrific act but Fico (not he fyykooe) was one of the biggest populists and antiliberal politician, if not most, in Slovakian history, there is absolutely no question bout that. He called Mrs. President a "slut", hate anything liberal/progressive, devide people in numerous populistic steps, was pro-russian I dont even know where to end. Plus he was responsible (or one of his fellows, cause he was connected to mafia) for killing investigative journalist and his fionce. Terrible person, anyway, this is horrible indeed.
