How about foot weight distribution? Do you put more weight on inside or outside pegs? Or equal? Does weight distribution change on corner entry, mid, and exit?
@CarsMeetsBikes
4 жыл бұрын
Personally I find that I have most of my weight on the inside peg, you can also see in the video that in a tighter corner he lifts his outside foot completely off of the peg. I would assume the weight distribution gradually increases on corner entry and then equalizes on exit
@sanjoriot5 жыл бұрын
Does it matter if you’re all up on the tank? For straightaways it could be better to help keep the front down but what about turns? Do you shift weight forward backward at all or is it mostly determined as a result of your wrist/foot position? I guess just in general talking about body position in terms of forward and back would be cool to hear.
@The02wooley5 жыл бұрын
More of this video was excellent
@kingt.hawkings325 жыл бұрын
You mean I got to take off the Go-Pro mount off the top of my tank! I already put back on my left rear passenger peg for more turn in weight! And I had all the people standing around me all pissed off because I was constantly revving the engine! Dude I was LMAO when you said all these things... because I new some racers were heeding that advice!

tthis foot positioning tip is very key , forces all your body down on the bike giveing yourself more traction especially during cornering, to be honest it felt like the bike was alot more controled and planted to the ground during corners, gives you the confidence to push just a little more in corners

More of this video was excellent
You mean I got to take off the Go-Pro mount off the top of my tank! I already put back on my left rear passenger peg for more turn in weight! And I had all the people standing around me all pissed off because I was constantly revving the engine! Dude I was LMAO when you said all these things... because I new some racers were heeding that advice!
Great info as always! Thanks Josh. #RideOnKentuckyKid

Tim Alcorn 👍🏼
You prefer BW Clockwise or Counter Clockwise? Been like 10years since I rode that track, back before I moved East. See you at VIR this weekend!!
tthis foot positioning tip is very key , forces all your body down on the bike giveing yourself more traction especially during cornering, to be honest it felt like the bike was alot more controled and planted to the ground during corners, gives you the confidence to push just a little more in corners

@@joshherrin hi there yes and no, i first came across this tip in a different video, but this video was able to give me a little more details, thanks for the tips man
Hi! General body position, in corners, why like this etc.
great tips!!!!! thanks....
what are the advantages of those early upshifts on corner exits?
Need more of these tips!!! Trail braking please
I learn this awesome tip to try then look outside and it starts to snow for the first time this year lol. For next year it is ha.
Question: You said your outer leg is relax but hooked to the tank, so is it just your leg thats hooked on the tank the only thing thats holding you on the corner or do you put some weight on the inner foot as well to help hold you on the corner? Please shine some light on me! lol More power!!!!
Nice josh 👌🏾 thanks for everything first off brother , second. Give us some breaking type when coming into a corner

From The tribe of Judah I’ll probably be covering this in my next video. Thanks for watching.
killer video...I have that same bike, but I might as well ride a Honda CB 250. My track days looks nothing like yours haha. Love the tips and the fucking around bits equally much
I want my gsxr to clutch less start!🤯 They say it get stuck in neutral map is this true?
I’d like to know about body prep and hydration to beat the cramps. Might be a boring video but could work it into another one.
More track tips/instructional please!!!
Hey at 6:07 you fully removed your right foot of the peg was it a situation where that was necessary
Cod and motorcycles ftw :) Thanks for good content!
You could be Eli Tomac’s little brother lol . Love the video wish i could ride with all of you one day
Where can we buy one of those blue hats you are wearing?
great and entertaining video Josh, see you at VIR this weekend, you need me to bring you some cold Coors lite?
I find my self trailing the rear brake into the corner and therefore cannot place my ball of my foot on the peg. Is it incorrect to trail brake?
Dude I love your videos. Please do one on braking - like backing it into a corner kinda braking ;)

Backing it on is done on the downshift. Just hammer down the gears, breaking traction to the rear. Super motos may vary.
Body position braking exiting acceleration. Thanks 🙏
That’s awesome. I live like 15 minutes away from that track
Do you race with a standard shift pattern ?
Any good riding schools you recommend?
so weight on outside foot is placed on the heel?
Oh and congrats on that last win my friend, the wife and I was watching with crossed fingers after Tony had that downshift problem and you blasted by ..... you could easily see what that win meant to you through the tv screen
