That shield bash AOE drove me crazy the first time I fought the Tree Sentinel lol. Respect for trying over and over again man, that’s what souls games are all about :D

Bro I didn’t learn how good jumping is for avoiding AoE like that until just a few months ago, and I played the whole game when it came out. Apparently when you jump your entire bottom half has invincibility frames and it lasts longer than a dodge roll, so it’s SUPER good for low to the ground attacks and AoE attacks. Timmy actually did it by accident a few times probably without even noticing

@@sebastiangustavsson2210 The Tree Sentinel is what drives a lot of new players away because they think they HAVE to beat him when in reality it’s how the game tells you “You shouldn’t be fighting this enemy at your level unless you absolutely know what you’re doing”

I suggest trying to play with xbox controller. for some reason the input latency was much lower. I tried ps controller it was much slower for some reason, felt like there was more delay in input, dont have explanation for it, but it just kinda was (for me and my friends)
