amazing ad section. I stayed for the fusions. You should just use that every time now, because they are so cool to look at, but it gets boring after a while so I would never go through all of them in one sitting, but going through all bit by bit whenever there is an ad. would be nice

I wish I could say my experience with the community has been great, but it hasn't. Literally posted my box looking for opinions on who would be decent to fuse, trying to do a similar Nuzlocke to PC and all I got were troll answers and people calling my encounters shit, no one actually providing any helpful opinions.

seeing how much Alpharad has learned from Jan about pokemon, and how much Jan has learned from Alpha about segues and narrative, is so oddly wholesome

A good one nonetheless. It has an actual challenge curve, mostly worthwhile/unoffensive story changes, solid gameplay changes that don't affect the core mechanics, and good QoL additions. It's occasionally wonky audio/visually, But it's really well made in the aspects that actually matter for the player experience.

Thanks for adding the Subway Surfer, Minecraft Parkour, and sick car drifting, almost had to pay attention to the ad read.

15:08 It was Endeavour wasn’t it? I spotted Endeavour pop up and thought “Oh, an out, if Jan’s faster, he can make use of the Endeavour to take care of the final bird!” and felt an odd twinge in my stomach when Jan skipped over it immediately. Edit: yeah I knew it. Everyone makes mistakes, but I am actually hard pressed to think of a time where a Nuzlocker has wiped on a run because they skipped over one move. Even Alpharad hasn’t, when he passed over Bulk Up he won the run. He just decided to tell the story where he lost because the win wasn’t worth it and it would have been funnier.

It's an example of too much experience being a bad thing. Most of us would have paused and been like "Is there any benefit I can get from learning this move?" Jan's fingers had already moved well past that point by the time his brain could catch up.

Yeah it is a lot of fun to watch! His daily youtube channel already has a lot of the second attempt up and it is even more interesting since he switches to modern mode which changes up route encounters and gym leader teams.

i've never done a nuzlocke but after hours of watching Jan i really thought he was about to teach endeavor...then he skipped it. Maybe there was a chicken sandwich at his door that distracted him.

Jan, wanna say that I’m really proud of the way your edited videos on this main channel have progressed. This was your best video yet and it wasn’t even close. Funny, suspenseful, educational and leaves us all wanting more from the future runs. Good on you my guy.

One of the best fusions I ever got was a Klinklang + Shedinja fusion. - Steel/Bug type means only being weak to fire. - Wonderguard preventing all damage excluding fire types. - Steel type prevents sandstorm and hail passive damage. - Gear shift for boosted speed and atk Swept through a lot of the game.

Just when I think he's gonna run out of content, he breaks out something worth dozens of videos! Pchal is unstoppable!

They didn't. Most of the sprites are made from AI, but they are hand making sprites, and you can really tell when you find those ones

@@Revanaught @Revanaught Most of them, like the Togetic+Nidoking one, are still made by an AI; only the more refined ones, like the Slowbro+Alakazam one in the thumbnail, are made by human artists, but a lot of them are constantly working so one day there might be no AI-generated ones left. Regarding the installation part... You _technically_ can play on Android phones thanks to the JoiPlay app, but not only it's a rather complicated setup, but also most RPGMaker games have many bugs, some functions just break and don't work at all on mobile, and also may be attached to built-in cheats that can potentially screw up your save file depending on the game's anti-cheat system; in short, you're just better off playing on pc.

Honestly i really like the team size limit, it adds a bit of difficulty and forces you to be creative instead of just throwing mons at the gym leaders

Oh I am SO looking forward to more of these! A standard run is insane enough, but they also have a modern mode for switched-up fights and the ability to randomize the game AT-WILL is BONKERS for replayability, especially when paired with the absurd amount of combos. (Bonus points if you go custom sprites only).
