Before Funny Car Chaos was even a thought, promoter Chris Graves teamed up with the fastest 1/8th mile drag strip in Texas, North Star Dragway, to host the highly anticipated 1st Annual Pro Mod vs Fuel Altered Showdown in 2013!
This event was years in the making for Graves who aimed to revive the exciting rivalry between the Texas Outlaw Pro Mods and Outlaw Fuel Altereds. No Rules...Run Whatcha' Brung...Fire Em' Up!
This event quickly matured into the wildest drag racing event each 4th of July weekend in the Southwest! Enjoy!

Thanks for the reply ,I am from the Old School Days of Drag Racing in the UK 🇬🇧🇬🇧at Santa Pod in the 1970,s great sport and team and fans ,still go today but miss the 1/4 mile runs from the pro classes !!👍👍👍😀😀😀😀

Nothing improper about eighth, a lot of those shutdowns were layed out in the sixties and too short for today.

Top fuel running close to 340mph in 1000 ft don’t really need to run farther…
1/8 MILE IS NOT DRAGRACING. 1000FT IS NOT DRAGRACING. 1320FT IS THE ONLY DRAGRACING.
