Brilliant video. It's great to hear a top keepers point of view on questions like this. Would be good to hear questions about these positions: defenders, midfielders and strikers and hearing there point of view on them position.

Jorge campos 🇲🇽🧤 height is 5’7” named third’s world’s best gk in 1993 he was short but that didn’t stop him he even played attacker for a while

5'7" in studs......and well sais... not only that...he played at the highest levels......and chaged the game.......he and Higuita paved the way for this new "sweeper-keeper" meta...... all while clocking in at five and half feet.....

The argument of top hand v bottom hand is always a choice between whether you want to have a longer reach (top) or get to the ball earlier (bottom).

Top is only "longer" with more time...like you say about the bottom being "earlier" ....... ..i think what it might actually come down to, depending on position, is whether it's higher or lower, AND DO I HAVE TIME TO GET THERE THAT WAY?

When I saw "Pro keeper" in the name I thought it was going to be Conor O'Keefe

For higher shots use your top hand, for low or middle shots, probably for for the bottom hand

Them talking about the situation that literally just happened with Ramsdale earlier in the week is great. People are quick to denigrate Ramsdale but he attempted to play the way Arteta wants and was just too slow that one time. He did plenty of cross goal routine passes throughout the match and was beaten on one. He put his head down and made two unbelievable saves after and helped secure the win. If that was his last match in an Arsenal kit, it was a good one.

Idk, I still feel tensed us watching a Goalkeeper just… do anything outside of holding the ball and sending it off. The last thing I wanna see is a GK bearing the burden of conceding a goal for the wrong reasons… 😥

When you see a league 2 side player, you would think that you would stand a chance to beat them. But honestly it is still unreal how high of a level of a league 2 player compare to an amateur.

In a five a side league I used to play in there was an ex Wycombe striker. He made us all look like utter fools. He was superhuman compared to everyone else.

Jorge Campos was 5' 6" and had over 130 caps for Mexico...

On the near post thing... The German Prototype keepers (Kahn, Lehmann, Tony Schumacher., Sepp Maier.. just to name a few) were trained to never get beaten in the near post. So it depends where are you from.
