Build lots of supply drop zones for constant income. Surround base with laser/missile turrets. Build anti def units. Finish everything with comanches. Works everytime.

Wow.... That supply center placement... You didn't see the fire still going on though...?

ivanhan12 The battle was just chaos I had to react fast to everything going on. So fast I didn't even see that tiny bit of fire still going on. I just placed it real fast not really looking just waiting to see the beam go away forgot about the fire left behind it again just being fast about it. I hate when I have to react fast so expect some mistakes. This video is an example of how terrible I am when a fast reaction is needed. But this video is very old and I play on Hard now (this video was on Normal) so I've improved quite a bit. Once I finish with General Leangs Challenge Mode I plan on taking General Ironside again but on Hard so I'll know not to make the mistakes I did in this video!

I observed some changes with the strategy center its bombardment mode icreased its range its now like a battleship

*Why in the beginning was said "allied particle cannon" and "allied nuclear silo" detected?*

The only thing that annoyed me with the pro gen mod is that ironside never got the emp and the laser defensive turret ironside was ment to have everything in the USA army

I would have put some laser cannons in 'New Mexico'.

I need your help, I can't win any game and move to the next General, do you know how to fix this bug?

I have to ask are you new in playing generals? coz if you just turtled in your base and lined it with laser turrets and avengers all of his attacks would just be tickling you considering townes is a defensive style general.

Jason Angelo Fernandez I've been playing Generals for years but I don't really know the best tactic or play style for each general because I usually don't care my normal play style is build army (usually big tank force) and build defence at where ever they attack from. I didn't know about this turtled strategy or that Townes was a defensive style General but I will try it in the future so I appreciate the tip thank you, if you have any other tips for other Generals let me know! It seems a lot of people don't like my play style so I am willing to try new ways.

I see. I just feel awful seeing your base and your tanks being blown up when it was preventable (except for the aurora attacks). And my playstyle is always to setup a defense perimeter before making an assault. Also, just a suggestion, for a bit of showmanship you should showcase the unique units/buildings/powers for each general you play with but in the end just have fun playing. Might consider using this mod for my generals as well. Any idea if it will entirely replace the core game or is it stand alone like shockwave and rise of the reds mod?

Jason Angelo Fernandez Yea I know what you mean I feel embarrassed seeing my base be destroyed so easily. Unfortunately it does replace your entire game but if you have the space make another copy of your Generals Folder and install the mod into that one which is what I did.

+Gassem Gariuti This is a mod called "Pro:Gen Mod" which adds deleted Units into the game. Everything seen in this mod was susposed to be in the original game but was taken out including General Ironside and General Mormar 'Deathstrike'. Download link is in description.

Mietek Yep another reason why Ironside is such a tough adversary he has the best of the best at his disposal. The Aurora Alpha Bomber is so OP but a great weapon towards my tank rushes.

mahairman Pro:Gem Mod changes it it to Normal, Hard, & Brutal but I do enjoy the game so I just put it on normal to show off Ironside and to have fun not being worried about being hit by everything.

Stinger So that particular mod has Normal, Hard and Brutal? And you were playing him on Normal or Easy for the original ZH. Maaaan, can't even imagine just how Brutal the opponents will be on Brutal difficulty!!!! LOL! It's going to be on a whole new level of pure madness! Unnecessary to say that I've already downloaded it. PS Little advice, play lots of games on Normal to hone your skills and when you do please upload a game vs any general on Brutal.

Could've ended this 15 minutes quicker if had concentrated on the power plants until he had no power, then use air units to take out everything else. Surely this is the weakness of any USA or Chinese general?

+MegaGouch Cool, when it's your first time playing and you have no idea what to expect you have to expect mistakes. General Ironsides attacks were way too swift for me to concentrate on the power immediately. As soon as I start attacking against any USA or Chinese General I always go for power and unit producing buildings.

As nasty as the Spectre was, I'm surprised you didn't realize it didn't have enough Time On Station to kill the particle cannon from other matches. You didn't play Ironsides first day out of the box after all. None of the general special attacks can go through a superweapon in one go alone. So that cooldown was wasted just damaging it. Now, the real problem was that half way through the battle, Ironsides was really threatening to gain ground with his Aurora strikes. That kept popping the fire bases and laser turrets, forcing the Commanches to carry the defense until you could get the anti-missile lasers upgraded on your tanks. Given his leaning towards Auroras, you could have gotten some Laser Raptors in the air and torn them up despite patriot defenses. I would have focused on increasing the commanche defense to deal with the ground assaults and spent my cooldown abilities hitting his air base to keep his air strikes down. Ironsides' use of his particle cannon was also hilariously poor. He kept going after non-vitals with it when he should have targeted your power or your economy tech buildings in the back. THAT would have made you sweat. But, I dunno, AI. AI is deliberately set to be dumb at the strangest moments. Ironsides was also REALLY obsessed with hitting those defensive tech buildings. Spending a little extra to keep them protected despite not really guarding the base was a good move and bought time for the tank rush. I was also happy to see you spread your power buildings out rather than bunch them all up with a big target sign saying "Shoot here." One of the other things I would have done would have been to mass up more economy buildings. It's a Total Annihilation/Planetary Annihilation styled strategy, but you can get a nasty runaway lead when you out-economy an enemy in C&C Generals. I don't know if that would have ended the match sooner, or later, given I like to stretch my buildups until I can pick an enemy apart with just the right tools, but I tend to lose less to direct attrition once I get rolling.
