I think people caught on pretty fast. Humans are dumb, but not that dumb. The skill he exhibited in his climbs made it obvious who he was. Watch it and look at the people's faces -- they knew who he was. Now, what they couldn't figure out was: why the f was he there pretending to be himself? And what would he do if confronted? All in all, really odd.

I agree in comparison to other content creators who take such things for granted, in relation to normal people you cannot say that indicates "down to earth" as it could also indicated just enjoying attention. So much fun having you at our event! We hope you had fun :) What Magnus doesn't really show in this video was just how long he had to stand there and take selfies and sign chalk bags and stinky climbing shoes once he took off that mask haha, and he did it with humility and graciousness. Thanks for coming, it was the story of the year for a lot of our club's members, we'd love you back any time! Also best disguise of the day was obviously Markus's moustache xD

I think my favourite part of this video was getting to see Magnus just interact with climbers at your club like he was just another member. Hanging out with other climbers and working on a problem is probably my favourite part of climbing. I can imagine I’d miss being able to walk into a gym Unnoticed by anyone else and just climbing with the public if I was in magnus’ position.

Absolutely. I was SO lucky to be at this Halloween party and NO-ONE discovered it was him 😭 (only when he did the bat hang was I like hang on… that’s like Magnus…) He signed my shirt and took a pic and I’n savouring it forever! He’s truly a humble kind man, quiet but insane at what he does

@@danielkunkler7293 Yeah he mostly always used to climb after hours in one of his own gyms that he's part owner of. Also, if magnus is just at a gym, I think people respect that he's there to climb and for the most part leave him alone, but as this was a party, I think people didn't mind so much as he was just messing about with everyone and not seriously climbing only. Also when he is climbing in his home gym, he probably knows a fair few of the regulars as well, so they most likely see him about the place relatively often, so it's not such a big deal (as this was filmed across the globe in Australia if I'm not mistaken).

Magnus's videos are one of the few that make me actually smile when looking at videos. I just love the energy and the reactions of people, Magnus is such a cool dude.

I've never climbed in my life and I can't get enough of these videos. This is my favorite by far!
