    Nah! Can Claire guess the brand, the product , the shape , size, by touching , feeling , smelling , and tasting it blindfolded and then recreate it? . That is what Chris does!

  • @rollfaceonkeyboard

    @rollfaceonkeyboard

    @@vinto1583 that's because he has more taste bud clusters that are tightly packed. That's a physical ability that you cannot replicate. @@rollfaceonkeyboard Well, the thing is however good Chris might be he still misses things because he is human , he is good but still makes mistakes. Why? coz he is blindfolded. Now my point was not who's job is more difficult/hardest.Just that Claire has an advantage coz she can taste, see the product, read the ingredients, research and scale operation to size using well researched alternatives seeking other peoples help. People are just biased because of their affection for her. Both Claire and Chris do difficult jobs , but remove the ability to see the dish , read the ingredients , would Claire be able to guess the color additive "yellow lake 5".She has an advantage off the bat when she reads the ingredients. So Recreating it is possible if not easy.

    Disliking foods to a chef would probably be similar to jumping to conclusions or using opinion in their cooking which could limit their creativity because they dont like an ingredient and dont want to use it. having the ability to appreciate ingredients for their diffrent qualities and flavours while having the skill and knowledge to be able to make something desirable probably helps make a good chef!

    Claire and gourmet snacks pulled me into BA. First I felt like the others were annoying and didn't always like them. But now I kinda feel like I know the whole gang personally, and I can't help but appreciate the diversity of personalities and their interactions. Although it's still basically reality tv and they are in essence putting on a show, with varying degrees of scripting, it feels so genuine and authentic. Like they are my friends. Even though I'll probably never visit the US, let alone have a job in a skyscraper and living a yuppie healthy nice life like the BA gang, I still can't be cynical about them or their show.
