Incredible japan! What a heavenly natural scene presented by you! I am from india, we love japan since 1940 A.D because the Japanese had supported our freedom movement against Britain. We salute the sun & japan because both are in the east🌷🌷🌷

So beautiful. I have to say my favorite part of this garden might be the stepping stones. I just love the smooth round stones. Usually stepping stones are flat and more in ground level but those are sooo nice looking. I’m inspired to try and make a stepping stone walkway similarly someday =]

That moss is a wonderful touch. How clever to divert spring water into a lotus/ Iris garden! What’s the palm behind the gentleman watering at 10:40?

If ever I am blessed with a yard again I will plant moss, not grass. Living in the Pacific Northwest as I do we have the perfect climate for moss. In fact the problem most people here have is too much moss everywhere including the roofs and driveways. Right now I live right next to a park made in an old growth forest and there is every type of moss and lichen you could want growing on the trees, the rocks and the man made stone and concrete structures. I’ve thought about making a moss and fern terrarium using some of the moss collected in that forrest.

Super amazing! I wish moss could be grown in southern California, lol (it’s much too dry here). Perhaps mondo grass works here? 🤔

Thank you! Moss can be difficult to find in a dry place. Mondo grass is strong and may be fine.

Wholly Thyme is a great option for us in dry and cold climates. I use it in my garden with great results. I may honestly replace my entire yard with it haha.

Is the soil where the moss is planted a special one? I had the impression that in other videos this soil was used too, a kind of sandy underground?
