@@oliviacolunga1548 I had to replace my clutch recently. You will know when it starts slipping and if you haven’t felt that before, it feels like the car can’t go when you gas it. With my x gen si, it would not move when I gas then out of no where it jerks the car when it finally catches grip. Won’t need to replace if you’re not kidding your x gen but mine started after 1k miles using tsp stage 1+ at 250whp

I didn't do much today, but I ended up learning that you can vape through a stock Honda Civic Si 2020 intercooler. So yeah as usual it was a productice day ;)

I trick I use to keep the bug buildup away is a piece of nylon window screen in front of intercooler and radiator. Doesn't really effect airflow and keeps the bugs from clogging your new intercooler.

IAT is temp from the intake, IAT2 is the cooled air. There should be a 10 to 20 degree difference between both IAT and IAT2, that's how you would tell how well the intercooler is working

Nice video! Curious to see if the bigger inter cooler will make turbo lag worse at all. That’s the main thing holding me back from making the upgrade. If not, I’m surprised Honda didn’t put bigger ones in the car if the only downside is cost

No joke dude. I believe that’s one of the first must have mod for all the 10th gen. My accord 2.0 after 4 or 5 hard runs, it gets sluggish.

Hey Cam, dumb question but I'm getting the vibe doing the intake at the same time as the IC/pipes is gonna give you a bit more room on the right.... I'm looking to get the intake/KT from phearable and still trying to figure out which IC &pipes I'm going with. (Heard good things about mishimoto being the best option here) for black friday and would like to do all 3 pieces at the same time. I've been hearing people say after getting the KT they wish they did their IC 1st instead of the intake, so I'm trying to take advantage of black friday and get it all knocked out at once.

The intercooler is the most crucial supporting mod when making more power. Even if you stay on the stock tune, an intercooler upgrade will help a lot

Hey Cameron did u ever do a video on the abbreviation on the ktuner? I found a list on their website but it’s a bit too technical. Not sure what each means. I’d really like to see something like that explaining what each is and what it does

I never did a video like that, but they do have an acronym list. The acronyms I didnt know back then, I just had to spend the time and google them

I’ve heard adding the charge pipes over stock doesn’t really make a difference, they just run you another $500 or so bucks. Any truth to that?

Yes it did. I was not aware that there was such thing as a racing intercooler for this car. I got the only intercooler that PRL offers

I have a very similar set-up as you. After driving for a while, I get 10 degrees above ambient for CAI and 20 degrees above ambient post inter-cooler. Would be cool to know what the pre-inter-cooler temperature is. Thanks for your videos. 2018 Civic Si Coupe. Street MAPerformance exhaust from the turbo back (performance catted down pipe). PRL inter-cooler with replacement pipes. PRL Cobra CAI PRL Flex fuel with the TSP tune. Eibach lowering springs. 1" lower. Eibach rear sway bar Hasport rear motor mount. Acuity short shifter including cable bushings 27Won leather shift knob 19" wheels - 245 tires Leather seats (all of the fabric is gone) LED reverse light bar (screws onto the license plate - huge improvement) Side marker "Smoke" with white LED's All exterior lights are LED's odds and ends.

@@Camhill182 I put on the springs that only lower about 1". If I take a corner into a parking lot with a bump and hit it with 1 wheel there is a tiny bit of scraping. Car looks really good though:) Your car looks awesome. Keep it going.

James Bragg definitely more consistent. There seems to me a momentary lag with the stock intake and the larger charge pipe though. Also, the stock air is literally next to and rubs the charge pipe. My 27WON intake arrives next Monday so hopefully that corrects both issues. Overall, worth it as doing more than one pull on the stock intercooler was instant heat soak with pulling timing/boost.

I did one open throttle in 3rd gear and it felt great. I wouldn't say I felt a difference, but I'll really be able to tell the difference when I have my next race

Nope! Intercoolers are plug and play on all 10th Gen turbo Civics

what'd you guys do to the plastic flaps that was on both sides of the intercooler? Did you take them out or put it in magically? My buddy ran into that problem and decided to take them out. just wondering what you guys did.

Hey Peter, we just kind of pushed them up and to the side a bit and then just shoved everything back on. I believe they are air ducts

The tune is the one that will void your powertrain warranty. Cold air intake and exhaust will not void your warranty

I have the mishimoto inter cooler and definitely notice a different , even without the charge pipes. I don’t think the charge pipes are worth it unless you get a bigger turbo. There is a video by edge auto sports showing that they don’t really make much power.
