I was at the the premiere of the movie at TIFF and we all stood up and gave these amazing artists a standing ovation because the work they did was absolutely remarkable! Beautiful movie! I took all my non-desi friends and they they were all drowning in tears and so was I.

Priyanka, thanks for introducing me to bollywood. You are such an eloquent speaker and i can listen to you all day long. Despite all the success, you are very grounded and i really appreciate that. The interview was beautiful. Pri, please continue choosing quality cinema. Love you. More power to you always.

I’ve seen the movie at TIFF and it’s actually well written well made movie! Rajeev knows how to ask the right questions. This interview is way better than the other big F channel interview where they skipped questions to Sid completely.

The film is a pale shadow in comparison to shonali's last outing..it's like. A Karan johar manipulative tear jerker

Thank God Priyanka chose The Sky Is Pink over Bharat... One of the best decisions of her life.. It doesn't matter how much money will this film make in the box office..but the fact that it got made is more than enough of a reason to celebrate Priyanka and Farhan's film choices. P. S. When Priyanka and Shonali were talking about Zaira's decision of leaving cinema, I could just sense Farhan's urge to counter their argument and atleast say that when a religion has different rules for men and women, it's the textbook definition of misogyny and bigotry , but of course he kept mum and only managed a meek "Absolutely".

@@kubersingh5633 He's an atheist...I don't think the son of Javed Akhtar has the pressure of being labelled "Islamophobic".. Javed Akhtar has said this numerous times that he has brought up (both Zoya and Farhan) sans any religion up until they were 18..my guess is, given the current political climate, he decided to not talk about this issue and jeopardize his film, specially when mainstream media houses know how to twist and turn facts and run prime time trash for TRP...but we all know that Farhan (or any rational man) would never support radical fundamentalism of any religion whatsoever.

Given the current situation in Kashmir and also the general liberalisation of the world, people tend to not comment on what would otherwise could be viewed as being Islamophobic. P.S. Farhan and Zoya aren't as outspoken as Javed Akhtar on politics and religion.

Anybody reading this please, please watch this movie for the brave fighter Aisha and her family. Pulmonary fibrosis is nothing short of a cancer, rather more disabling. As a pulmonologist i have seen it shake the strongest people, but just have a look at Aisha's TED video, you'd be in awe of her spirit, i think it's right time in Bollywood for such scripts to flourish.

Everytime I hear Farhan's voice, which happened very rarely in this interview, I fell in love with him all over again.

Absolutely absolutely LOVED the interview. Glad that Sidharth could speak too. Excellent questions. I hope Priyanka reads this. She's such an articulate eloquent speaker. But this is her second interview that I'm watching today and she has managed to interrupt each and every person who has spoken (and every time at that), which is such a big turn off.

What are these ads people are complaining about? I got zero ads during the whole show.

Swarna Fernando lol gave a chance? That’s the attitude she is actually giving away. It seems as though she is “allowing” people to speak and then interrupting whenever she wants. Lol. Ridiculous. Yes, she is talented, and spoken well in interviews, has great achievements, but, she is extremely entitled and arrogant. Her expressions scream arrogance and very very rude.

sierra_ kilo How can you be sure you know her more? Ofcourse neither do you nor do I. I have been watching most of her interviews for years, following her on insta, watching her grow and work hard over the years. In short, I have been a huge fan. But I always got this negative vine from her which I ignoredand always looked at her positive side. As of recently her attitude and her statements have been extremely arrogant and derogatory, which I have noticed, because I have been watching her interviews.

Its not only this interview...I like her and follow most of her interview...in most of them she has this habit of interrupting....watch the interview of Dil dhadakne do... u'll understand what am talking about...there is no hatred here.... And what's with the fake accent? It's not like someone has her on gunpoint if she doesn't fake the accent.

Even Farhan did few times, Shonali did few times even sid did once. That is not rudeness. Rudeness is when you cut other people off to make your point. What do you mean by fake accent? Have you seen her interviews from 2006 with Simi Garewal etc, her accent is not much different than current one. When you hear her in interviews with American TV you will realize how different her intonations are from others. They still sound very much Indian. So give it break to this fake campaign about fake accent.

6th times ads really Pathetic

actually this would probably be a much better story, if we were to abandon whatever its attempting to convey and then substitute with some more captivating circumstances and considerations. immediately we make room for an additional arrival, which of course is captained by the fair winds blowing a flowerful array of activities entertainments and enlightened endeavors. while we recognize where we come from and where weve been, we cant obsess on what the film might have wanted, only what it is and shall be.

Wedding is not an excuse. Its a life event. Excuses are my grandma died or I fell sick etc. As long as she returned the booking amount or paid for breaking the contract which given her total net worth would be peanuts, she is free to take professional decisions as she deems fit

That is because India has so many different languages. There are lot of people in Southern India who doesn't speak Hindi. That makes English the common language that would appeal to the audience that generally watch film interviews and all. France (and others) has just one common language across the nation which makes it easier for them to promote everything in French.

Especially considering the movie itself has been made in Hindi, there's no harm in conducting the interview in Hindi too, in fact it'll only help them generate a wider domestic audience. Just a little consideration towards Hindi speaking audience is all that is required.
