Hi everyone! I know I said I'd email a photo of my flight plan to anyone that asked, but I never thought this video would get any more than 100 views or so. I've gotten too many requests to keep up with at this point, sorry all! -Han

Been watching your acrobatic flight training. You have come a long way in a short time. You are doing awesome things in the Extra. Lookout Patty Wagstaff.
This is super helpful, thank you so much!
Passed my checkride on May 08 2020 for my private pilot. Used your tips, really helped. Even though I didn't have to look up any questions. I will do a video and post on my channel as well.
This video is extremely helpful! I am not too far through my training yet, but I am getting close to taking my first solo flight. I figure that it is never too early to start preparing for the oral exam! This really helped put it into perspective on what types of questions the examiner will ask and how to handle the questions. I tend to overstudy and worry about everything, so let’s hope it isn’t a problem! I do think the flight portion would be interesting to learn about from your perspective, if you ever feel like making a video about it. I would definitely keep watching any future videos of yours, as you do an amazing job at explaining things! Would you be able to send me the picture of the flight plan? A lot of times it helps me to learn when I can see a final product and then understand how it works. My instructor hasn’t really taught me anything about it yet, but he gave me the sheet. Thank you for making this video and sharing your stories to help all of us who are preparing, and I wish you the best on whatever your goals are for your pilot journey! 😊
Thanks for this, super helpful!
So incredibly useful. Thank you!
Thank you so much this deffinetly helped me a lot!

Great video Hannah! I’m up in Hillsboro. Hope to see you around sometime!
This is so helpful, thank you!
Common question I've heard many times regarding airspaces- dpe points at random airport (will definitely be uncontrolled, under a B and a C)(they really look for one lmao) and it goes like "Imagine you're in a rocketship, going straight up. Walk me through every airspace you're going to fly through, surface to 60,000 ft". Really helps with understanding airspaces and their layout.
@flywithhan
5 жыл бұрын
I didn't get the "surface to 60,000 feet" question, but I would imagine it's a possibility you could. But yes, pointing to any airport is fair game. Mine asked me about this tiny little airport in the middle of a Charlie that had a SFRA, as well as airports near our home airport. Also: I said this in the video but seriously.... have the Chart Supplement US on hand!!! My DPE pointed to an airport in G airspace on the chart...but since charts aren't revised as often as the Chart Sup., it actually had changed to be a class E! Be careful! They'll get you with that stuff.

This is VERY useful, you are articulate and I learned a lot!. I hope you can create a video on the process of learning to fly like thinking out the maneuvers or how your or your CFI structured your learning , what things were difficult to learn . I am finding that my lessons fly past me but I dont feel the plane like my CFI does or quickly reacts , yet - newbie and all. Basically any tips on how to watch out in the learning process.
