@@trentdabs5245actually that's located in Twanek, inside Sechelt Inlet on the Sunshine Coast. Our family had a home directly across from it for 40+ years. I'd give anything to be able to live up there. Felt like you were a million miles from the city, when in fact you're only 40nm as a crow flies!

With the rain pouring outside in that video, it gave that home an ever so more cozy feeling.

i actually spent a week here 10 or so years ago with the former owners. an incredible place

I did labor work rennovating one of the island houses in west van for a family and these houses on islands are a LOT of work. Good for seeing otters, seals, and the occasional orca/whale surfacing.

could you imagine living there waking up early 6am to this beautiful place, hearing the birds chirping, your coffee brewing, while you're having some delicious maple syrup drench on your french toast with some Canadian bacon on the side and then you notice Russian military ships heading in towards you? Sincerely, Damn I should've been a movie director

Winter time there? Electricity? Water? Sewer/septic system? Transportation to and from island? So many problems people like me who have lived in the country for over 30 years realize you have, that people living in the cities don't have a clue about. If you buy it, make sure you have plenty of $$$$ for up keep and repairs. Plenty of $$$$!

There are actually islands for sale for a lot less than this. I personally have hardly anything saved up anymore...but there are islands cheap enough that ten years ago my savings would have been enough for a down payment.

Hi there, thanks for viewing the video. The Island is in the ocean, however Porpoise Bay is an inlet that makes for substantially calmer & warmer water than the "outside" open ocean outside of the inlet. Hope that helps!

Very beautiful but not practical for living because I would hate to have to take a boat every time I left home worry about furniture deliveries and such, etc.; however, it would make an awesome holiday get-away! The price isn't bad if you consider what some pay to live on a golf course or a big house with acreage (not in my price range though).
