Private HELICOPTER Wine and Food Tour | Scenic Rim, Queensland, Australia
In this video of Living the Jo life, we go on a romantic and private helicopter winery and gourmet lunch tour in the Scenic Rim region of South East Queensland in Australia. From Archerfield Airport, we went with a Robinson R44 helicopter to our first stop at the Overflow Estimate 1895 for wine tasting with a view of the vineyards and Wyaralong Dam. We tasted seven different wines and at the end we got to pick a bottle of our favorite wine to bring home. After about an hour, our pilot, Richard, from Elite Helicopters flew us to our second stop of the day, the Bunjurgen Estate Vineyard. The Bunjurgen Estate Vineyard is a lovely quiet place surrounded by nature, gum trees, cockatoos and scenic mountains, where we got to taste a few of their bestselling wine and port. After a relaxing hour in nature, we headed to the Homage Restaurant at Spicers Hidden Vale. It was a clear sunny day, so on the way, we could see Brisbane city about 100 km away. At Homage Restaurant, we had a lovely 3-course lunch, before flying back to Archerfield Airport. We had a fantastic day, and we can highly recommend this tour with Elite Helicopters. Well that's why you came home that day all giggly....Now the mystery is clear. So sneaky. Seems like you had a big day. Just as well we didn't know you were up in a Helicopter. And now after you went home I was putting things from your room in the bin and wondered why those old mended shoes were there. Now I feel bad as they could have got to have been something valuable in the future. Loved the video...Mum & I.
