I remember hearing this 5 to 40 and they gave me 3 of those! I was young and a first time offender and took a plea for boot camp! Only served 8 or 9 months no snitching! In va they have some sort of point system! I did serve an extra 3 days for trading a chicken patty for 1 slice of cheese though

Want to know why it’s a bad idea to get into debt in prison? I had a buddy who racked up 2 grand within the first 2 months. We were friends back in the day, but he was black and I had to run the peckerwood car (this is Cali, so the closest we could get in there was a nod and a smile from across the yard) His family was putting a lot of money on his books at first, and then during a visit, his mom saw him nod off. So she knew he was using and stopped sending money. Up until then, he had good credit, and always paid, so they started giving him shit on credit, figuring that he would pay like always. But he couldn’t. Word got around that he was in debt, and it wasn’t just with the his people. He had to settle with the essays and even owed for a sac with us (woods). He tried to make it up by gambling and just made it worse. He was trying to lock it up, and couldn’t do it in time. 4 torpedos stuck him almost 60 times somehow he lived, but he’s paralyzed from neck down. He got transferred to a different place and he’ll never walk again. Can’t scratch his face or whipe his ass. He shits in a bag and probably won’t live much longer. Stay out of debt.

RIP Ryan! When I found your story I stayed up all night watching your videos finding you so cool and interesting and then at 5am in the morning I found out you had passed away. I hope you're in Peace now brother and I know you will be watching over your little one. No shame in what happened to you and many of us. None of the generations before us knew what we would be facing. You had a life of the most serious ups and downs like no other I ever heard. I just hope you're at peace now brother.

These interviews you do are important. Its shows the values and the Rawness of being a man. Good and bad mixed. Alot of these thoughts these guys share humanizes them.

I first watched this I didn't expect much but soon was drawn in by this guy, eventually I found his channel and have binged all his stuff since. Really interesting, entertaining guy with great storytelling ability. Oh n he's pretty funny.

The letter was from the county I got caught in. It was a State thing not fed. The letter just told me what I was being charged with and said I had to turn myself in, asap. Ended up getting my lawyer and pleading down to 2 counts of simple Felony Possession and did a short bid in Michigan DOC. I was fortunate I was able to hire a good lawyer (SCOTT WEINBERG).

Got the CO who accidentally killed a inmate as well who I think is still willing to come on... he has severe PTSD from it. All it took was buddy not returning to his cell for lockdown and a accidental trip and he hit his head the wrong way... 5hours he had to guard the body and the smell I guess has never left his nostrils... Fuckin prison....

I've done fed and state time myself. The only time I ever heard of state or fed letting people go is to work. The feds do indict people, but he should have been doing state time until the indictment was unsealed, then run whatever state time concurrent with the fed time. I'm not saying he's lying..... just strange.

This interview was REALLY interesting from your guest Ryan. You can tell this guest, Ryan, is truly authentic because.... 1) He's done time in the California State Prison System (CDCR). 2) He has also done experienced time in the Federal Prison System. 3) He's seen a lot in both state and federal prisons and he's not glorifying or trying to "act" like he's some gangster at all. You can tell be the way he speaks so well and isn't trying to act gangster either out in the free world and just got caught up and got pinched and he comes to find out it was a huge case where 109 others I think he said were indicted. That's crazy and lastly...4) He wrote a best selling book while an inmate. That's damn impressive and a first I've ever seen or heard of. Impressive interview and story telling from both of you guys

This is true, they let him go bc if they really wanted to build a case to indict him they’d have to get more evidence. If they would have kept him any longer or not released him at all, it could’ve messed the whole case up in the future and there would’ve been a chance they could’ve thrown it out just for having him in custody for too long before the indictment hit

They will do some traveling too, they dont care if u on vacation, a funeral, better believe, if u have a fed charge pre-indictment.....they on your ass 24,7. Endless resources.

This is clearly your best video yet! Great insights from someone who has been in both federal and state prison. Clarifies some of the differences. I still would like to learn more on the differences between them. If they dont have pc in federal I wonder whether there are many more stabbings... especially since he explains that the feds get less and less white collars criminals in their jails and prisons.
