Among the many impactful programs friends like you have made possible, more than 330 women found solace and hope through Create: New Beginnings, a series of restorative art workshops. This innovative program offered a space for healing and expression, empowering women within the justice system to embrace new beginnings through artistic endeavors.
Additionally, 123,874 Bibles were distributed to prisoners across the country, offering encouragement and guidance. Plus, more than 1 million copies of Inside Journal went out to hundreds of prisons and jails, sharing stories of faith, encouragement, and transformation.
Moreover, more than 43,000 Justice Ambassadors contacted their legislators, advocating for justice that restores, while over 250,000 children of incarcerated parents received heartfelt gifts during Christmas, fostering connections and spreading joy.
The Prison Fellowship Academy grew from 146 to 218 sites, guiding men and women on a journey to holistic life transformation in 41 states. Pathways participants in 4 states completed 25 service projects, embodying the values of responsibility and integrity after prison.
Amidst these remarkable accomplishments, we bid farewell to outgoing CEO James J. Ackerman, whose remarkable leadership has guided us through impactful strides toward transformation. As we express gratitude for his invaluable contributions, we eagerly anticipate our new CEO, Heather Rice-Minus, a visionary leader poised to continue steering us toward greater heights.
