Larry, you’re 100% right about how the U.S. govt and pharmaceutical companies are by far the richest and most powerful drug dealers in the world. Painkillers and antidepressants are COMPLETELY the wrong approach to all this. They’re incredibly addictive but they’re also incredibly profitable, so the system marches on like this.
It's so interesting to me that you can be honest with everyone about what you think. It takes guts and gives me something to look at and take into perspective in my own life. Teaching me many life lessons and I am thankful for your videos!

Larry, props for pointing out how complicated the tunnel must have been to build. That's a mind boggling feat. If I was tasked to do it, I'd start in a location I knew I could do the following. Have the exact gps coordinates and elevation of where the tunnel will end, and use a laser or lasers to be precisely straight and keep the angles precisely straight. If you can shine your laser underground to the exact coordinates under his cell, for example, you know you're there and now just tunnel up. :) Just a thought I had. Could also make adjustments and reflect the laser around corners etc with technology to make sure the actual trajectory stays unchanged.
@andrius799

Lalo Salamanca from Better Call Saul has that exact safehouse that El Chapo had in real life, with the movable bathtub to go into a tunnel. Crazy crazy crazy.
You talking freely about the prison system makes me appreciate the freedoms we have in the West. It's ugly and dark but it's also a system that you can freely critique without getting harassed or imprisoned if you have done your time. And I think talking about it honestly makes a difference for the best of society. It's a new form of communicating that I really like.
I never knew there were SO MANY tunnels. Like you said, it is truly an engineering feat worthy of being on Modern Marvels on History Channel. Just like a rifle, if you shoot a degree off, by the time the bullet reaches it's target it's WAY off. Same with the tunnel. AND, you had to do it secretly and as quiet as possible and with a map of the prison going EXACTLY under the toilet.
Larry, Could you do a show on how you were able to rebuild your reputation after doing 12 years in prison? Rebuilding your life must be harder than the prison time itself.
My time living in Mexico people loved el chapo, especially the youth, because el chapo donated so much money to towns and poor people, there was a time when people wanted el chapo to run for president since he helped the people more than the government at that time. Also, can you do a video on his rival: Amado carrillo Fuentes?

Hey Larry I really enjoy your content keep up the good work. I debated on posting this because I don't want people thinking that I'm nuts but here it goes like you I'm also interested in cartels and I was watching an old biography special about Carlos Slehder and it was your run of the mill gangster bio story until it got to the end. Then some interesting writing popped up on the screen. I can't remember what year that this supposedly happened in but according to the attorney he had his regular scheduled visit with Carlos set for a certain date and when he went to the prison he was told that Carlos wasn't there. He was like what do you mean he's not here did he get transferred because I haven't received anything about a transfer? And they said no that 2 guys in suits showed up about 3am with the official paperwork and took Carlos out in restraints and he wasn't seen or heard from again until last year when he was shown being released from that same prison at the age of 70. It also said that prison officials spoke off the record and confirmed what the attorney said. Even though when they asked them on the record they said of course he's there but he was in solitary and couldn't be interviewed at that moment. Part of me thinks that this sounds like a made up story accept for one thing to my knowledge the biography Channel never had to issue a retraction and it was just let go. Which is kind of weird considering how high profile slehder is you'd think that government would be quick to debunk that if nothing else just to save face. But that made me even more curious about them and I have ran across tv species and books basically saying that Pablo and all of his higher ups was basically CIA assets and the CIA only turned on Pablo after he waged a terror campaign on the government of Columbia after he was denied entry into parliament then later came extradition etc. Then the CIA took Pablo down and backed the Cali cartel then later production moved to Mexico and when chapo took over the same deal with him and there's a famous case where the CIA told the DEA to drop an investigation into Chapos nephew after he got busted. But anyways if the story about Slehder is true where do you think he was and is it possible that Slehder wasn't actually in prison that whole time and he was only brought back when it was time for him to be released and if that's possible then what's to say that someone like chapo may not actually be in prison now? Like I said it sounds crazy but I've learned one thing when it comes to the government there's no telling.
it’s a good day whenever you upload
Good video Larry.
Hey larry ! Very fun video as usual ! I would love if you could make a video about pink panther robbers ! Have a great day and thanks for your great content ! ❤️
Larry - Just love your channel & your work & insight. As a Land Surveyor - I can tell you that this tunnel would have had Land Surveyors involved for sure. With extremely precise measurements - as well as the exact location of the facility - coupled with a complete set of "Blue Prints"... That being said - You are so very correct in that - It is a miracle to be able to "Traverse" to that exact point, come up "vertically" and nail that exact spot. The odds are astronomical !!!!
Keep preaching the truth, not just about your experiences but about the failures of the US government and prison system.

If I hadn't had the Lord in my life back in my teens, I probably would've eventually ended up in prison but I think that choosing to get away from the people who were toxic and hanging around people who weren't into all that bad s***, is what got me back on track.
