This is one of those performances that no matter how many times I hear it, every time still feels like the first. It conjures up emotions in me that I can’t even explain. One of my absolute favorites.

I have been working in a jazz club for 6 years and have listened to incredible amount of jazz, but since I've discovered this trio, it still changed my perception of live performance and what's possible by a human.

No words to describe this

You put 3 brilliant musicians together and this is what you get. They work so beautifully together.

RIP Garry... One of the finest sounds of bass in the whole history of jazz music

Peacock has passed on to eternity and Keith can't play much now. I'm so grateful that they've created and recorded so much and given us all such endless joy and pleasure and artistry. Watching them here you get one of those "rigth that moment they had the very best jobs of anybody in the world" feeling.

RIP Gary.. Just great that the video director had the sense to focus so much on Gary's journey in this tune. Thank you!

This tune is one of Jarrett's greatest compositions. It's just heartfelt, logical poetry. The version on Personal Mountains is definitive, but this uptempo version with the closing vamp is fun.

FYI, Gary studied physics at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Great tune. I love the album version the best. This trio is one of the best ever. Saw them live at Juan Les Pins '05, '06 and '07 and I'll never forget the amazing experience. I almost got to talk to Sonny Rollins at the '05 concerts when he was doing a short rehearsal during the afternoon but the security chucked me and the other jazzhounds out!

I caught the trio at Carnegie Hall in 2011, I believe it was. The best Autumn Leaves I'd ever experienced.

Probably my favourite video on this site.
