I met her about this time up behind Graceland, after my brother and I and Elvis’s cousin had just finished playing football and riding on the golf cart with Lisa. She had the most beautiful complexion I’d ever seen. She was wearing tan slacks and a white button up blouse. She was absolutely beautiful

I absolutely love this clip! The woman host was adorable too when she talked of how she would see Lisa out or talk to Lisa on the plane. Her southern accent was just delightful. Such a fan of Priscilla's. I hope to meet her one day too. So grateful for all she has done to preserve and protect Elvis' legacy.

What a time warp! The music on top of it all made me feel I was transported right back to the Saturday Night Fever era and sadly, the whole world felt different to me when he died. There was simply a void no other person regardless of their talent, could ever fill. Priscilla was gorgeous back then, an exquisite and flawless natural beauty.

Elvis never demanded the heavy make-up Priscilla liked to wear to look more mature. Do you really think Elvis Presley demanded Priscilla B. to dye her dark hair in the same ginger colour as Ann-Margaret Olssen had? Of course not. It looked embarassing. Elvis Presley loved Ann-Margaret so much that 6 years after their affair Elvis was still talking about Ann-Margaret (according to Barbara Leigh). It took Elvis many years to get over Ann-Margaret and maybe he never did. The first thing Priscilla B. did, after getting her high school diploma, was following courses in make-up, hairstyling and modeling. Priscilla B. always planned a career in modeling and acting just like her mother, Ann Iverson, wanted for Priscilla. Elvis Presley was just their stepping stone. According to Ann Iverson knowing Elvis Presley was the chance of a lifetime. Priscilla B., her golddigging parents and her 5 half-siblings indeed managed to degrade Elvis Presley and his descendants into their personal ATM-machines.

That’s a very shallow way of thinking, what a sad world if this is the common mindset of people…Ageing is a beautiful thing & ppl should celebrate it, from the inside and out & not create these awful sexist & ageist beauty standards bc it does nothing for this world other than ruining ppl…

So love this era, the music at the beginning feels like it deports you back there. Love the fashions, make-up, etc. Priscilla was so beautiful. She still is, it’s just a shame she felt it necessary to turn to cosmetic procedures in a bid to hang onto her youthful looks, which resulted in her falling prey to a charlatan cosmetic practitioner, who butchered her face and left her with the disfigured look she has today. That aside, in hindsight, it’s clear that Priscilla was always the best spokesperson for Elvis. I may have my reservations about this undying love between her and Elvis that’s been perpetuated over the years, ie, I believe Elvis had moved on and was “in love” with someone else, but there’s no doubt he would have still loved and cared for Priscilla deeply (as she does him).

@RandoCalrissian I agree with a lot of what your saying. When Priscilla came out for his funeral, Joe Esposito's girlfriend heard Priscilla and her sister upstairs laughing. Agreed that she was a beautiful woman but not so sure about the other.

I don't see Priscilla as a bad person. She is human. Believe me I love Elvis and have been an Elvis fan since 3-4 years old. But the truth is Elvis disrepected his marriage. He had all kinds of women and wouldn't have anything to do with Priscilla after Lisa was born. He left Priscilla alone and ignored her. Just because she was married to The King does not mean she should have put up with the what was going on..Just goes to show money can't always buy you happiness. You can't abuse a relationship and expect to keep it. I think Elvis and Priscilla loved each other deeply and would have stayed together if Elvis had just done his part to keep the relationship rather than chasing other women and ignoring his wife. Priscilla to this day actually stands by Elvis memory. She helped save Elvis's home and does every thing she can to keep the memory of him alive. Give her a break haters and look at the big picture.

@@sherrysimmons5553 She said in her book that if Elvis had affairs she did not know it. So that is not her excuse for leaving him. Also she has gone back on that story that he would no have sex with her after the baby was born. That was apparently her excuse for the affair she had with her dance instructor only four months after Lisa was born.

Elvis had good taste for women, but I never understood for which reason she has always been referred to as Priscilla Presley after she divorced him. I don`t know of any other similar case.

What do you mean? Usually you end up keeping your last name even after a divorce! Plus Elvis never even picked up his copy of their divorce papers. She is his Daughter’s Mother & definitely deserves so much respect for the way she has helped his Legacy. And she did everything right!

Usually it's to keep the same last name as your child. The worst feeling is not to be connect with your child. The child feels it as well.
