Yes. This used to be a railway line running from Port-of-Spain to Arima which is considered the East-West Corridor of Trinidad. It is approximately 22.49 km. When this was built over 20 years ago (approximately - I cannot remember) it was built to get commuters to work because the traffic situation on Trinidad highways are horrendous. Too many cars on the island. They also now have a ferry running between Port-of-Spain and San Fernando to ease the traffic congestion.

They were planning of allow cars with 4 people to use it at certain hours. I don't know if this took place. I know there was some sort of trial over a year ago.

Wait a min, is that road only for buses? We only have bus lanes here in Jamaica.
