The song and dance are beautiful. The only problem is, the original beautiful hand-swaying movements which seemed to have been called as kumintang was not used in this dance. I know a popular dance organization from a university in Manila that traveled to other countries presenting Filipino dances removed the beautiful kumintang hand-movements which disappointed lots of Filipinos. Why would a dance organization take away the beautiful and gentle hand-movements that added more beauty and delight in the dance presentation, whch WERE ORIGINALLY PART OF ALMOST ALL OF THE FILIPINO FOLK DANCES? That is so unwarranted, so uncalled for! Please do not imitate the dance organization that removed the kumintang - they had no right at all to take that part of the dance when the kumintang made the dances more delightful and enjoyable lo watch.
