I always thought it was neat to give Peach her own Luigi’s mansion esque spin-off, gotta say, I’m impressed with the final battle!

This Peach-centric game is good, but what I want to see is a Bowser-centric game. No, Bowser's Inside Story doesn't count; that's a Mario & Luigi RPG title. Picture this: Bowser has just been trounced by Mario and his pals again, so the Koopa King decides to take a vacation away from the Mushroom Kingdom, one where he won't have to fight plumbers or kidnap princesses. He goes to a land that could basically be described as a "Disneyland for villains", but finds it is being invaded by an army that is trying to purge it of "evil" and turn it into a land of "good". Bowser is pissed off at these guys disrupting his vacation time, so he decides to fight back, only to discover that this invading army may not be as "good" as they seem.

Even if you don't want to count Bowser Jr's side story I still think it should be taken into consideration at least. It gets brushed aside way to often for how original it is for a Mario title.

I mean, I don't see why not. We've gotten Wario games, which allow Nintendo fans to play the greedy big guy. Why not allow us to play as the King himself? We've gotten the chance to play as Ganondorf in the Hyrule Warriors game.

@@blueknightskeleton8424 the only problem is that Nintendo made Madame Grape solely designed around the theatre, so ideas for an original sequels are quite limited. Maybe having Grape attack the castle as a payback for ruining her spotlight; that would be nice

It's a similar color dress too. I just checked the image from Super Mario Galaxy and it has some differences like no stars on the outer trim and no star brouche. As we don't know what the rest of the dress looks like.

Peach is officially the Peacemaker of the Super Mario universe. Think about it! All the other Mario characters have their antagonists- Mario has Bowser, Luigi has King Boo, Donkey Kong has King K. Rool, etc. Until now, Princess Peach never had a true nemesis of her very own _(I reiterate; Bowser is MARIO'S nemesis, not hers.)_ and when Peach finally finds her own nemesis in the form of Madame Grape, she *_Destroys Her_* in their final encounter in this one game. Not humiliated, Not blown away like Team Rocket, not forced to retreat, nothing like that- Grape is _GONE!_ Peach may have to deal with the Koopa King from time to time, but she doesn't have her own coterie of supervillains. because currently, none who have stepped up to the crown _have lived to tell the tale!_

@@EliSlayz Closest Daisy had to a nemesis is the Spaceman Tatanga, who turned out to be one of Wario's henchmen in "Super Mario Land 2: the Six Golden Coins". What I'm saying is that Wario is what the folks at TV Tropes would consider Daisy's "Greater Scope Villain."

@@amigomorton5193 Exactly, people have been skipping out on that scene even though it's part of the ending credits for some reason. I think Grape is actually the mask itself, and she uses her magic to create a physical body, kind of like what Gems do in "Steven Universe". I really hope she returns because during the boss intro for the Spotlion boss, she states that considering Peach as a rival is mildly amusing to her, but now that she defeated her, Grape has a real reason to call Peach her enemy now! Picture this for a sequel, Grape invades Peach's Castle for revenge, and she turns it into her own personal theater, sending Peach outside and trapping Mario and the Toads inside. Now Peach must find a way to retake her castle with Stella's help, and save the Toads that are forced to be involved in and watch Grape's shows. And as the penultimate boss, it could be Mario corrupted by Darkle, and Peach needs to save him before facing Grape again.

This definitely gives peach the spotlight she deserves.

I’ve realised how the topic of the story is the duality of hope and despair which means that this games is obviously inspired by dagonropa (sorry if I write it wrong)

I like the designs for the four floor bosses, they each have a unifying theme with different things of a theater and the golden masks as well.

worse than it seems it makes sense for Peach to be kidnapped, after all Bowser catches her in the most unprepared moments possible he kidnaps her during a dinner, while in the kitchen making a cake, during a party practically Bowser is the most intelligent being when it comes to beat Peach

This game gives off strong Kirby Vibes!
