Princess Mononoke (Japanese: もののけ姫 Hepburn: Mononoke-hime, "Spirit/Monster Princess") is a 1997 Japanese animated epic historical fantasy war film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, animated by Studio Ghibli for Tokuma Shoten, Nippon Television Network and Dentsu, and distributed by Toho.
Princess Mononoke is set in the late Muromachi period (approximately 1336 to 1573) of Japan with fantasy elements. The story follows the young Emishi prince Ashitaka's involvement in a struggle between the gods of a forest and the humans who consume its resources. The term "Mononoke" is not a name, but a Japanese word for a spirit or monster: supernatural, shape-shifting beings.
The film was released in Japan on July 12, 1997, and in the United States on October 29, 1999. It was a critical and commercial blockbuster, becoming the highest-grossing film in Japan of 1997, and also held Japan's box office record for domestic films until 2001's Spirited Away, another Miyazaki film.
The film score of Princess Mononoke was composed and performed by Joe Hisaishi, the soundtrack composer for nearly all of Miyazaki's productions, and Miyazaki wrote the lyrics of the two vocal tracks, "The Tatara Women Work Song" and its title song. The music was performed by Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Hiroshi Kumagai.

Hi Stanislav is it your own arrangement or you have to "official" partition ? I bought in tokyo a book of the ghibli partition and mine is quite the same but with variations. I can send you a scan of the first pages if you want to check it out :)

The sheet that I play here was sent from a viewer with the purpose to make this video :) No idea who made it.
Beautiful rendition! I found this video because I was having trouble with the right hand at the 0:45 mark and was looking for solutions. I see that your hand is big enough to reach all four keys. Mine is not. So you have any suggestions? I’ve had a lot of fun trying to learn the other pieces in this book, but didn’t have this issue before. Usually I have been able to compensate by using both hands, but here the left is too far away to help out.

Hi! Well, you roll the chord anyway and you can hold it with a pedal for the duration :) It is not so important to hold it with the fingers so don`t worry :)

@@StanislavStanchev Thank you for answering! I found it difficult to roll this particular chord fast enough without reaching all keys at once, but I’m sure it’s just a matter of practice. I will keep trying. Have a nice day sir!
Where can I get the sheet?? it sounds amazing :o
@aldufour2624

You can find it in Joe Hisaishi's book "Ghibli Best Stories".
I can't hit that first rolling chord. I need bigger hands.
What grade level do you think this piano piece is? I’m worried to over estimate my abilities as an intermediate 😅
