her acting skills are insane. she's soo so talented. everytime she smiled it felt genuine and every single voice intonation, every facial expression was spot on. not to talk about her accent and posture...I love her.

I once read an article about Princess Margaret and how some friend of hers, an author I forget the name of, had once considered her as being too intelligent for her station in life. I think that might have been another factor, aside from the ill-fated romance with Peter Townshend, that led to her being so unhappy. Then her marriage to Antony-Armstrong Jones, by then Earl of Snowdon eventually failed. I believe through all the time that passed, until her last breaths, Townshend was the only man who could have ever truly been it for Princess M. It's kind of sad that due to the protocol of that time period that it could never be.

In season 1 and 2 Philip is quite kind and compassionate towards Margaret, but then in season 3, like you said, it is quite the opposite! I feel like unfortunately, all the characters became more mean and dislikable after season 2, especially Elizabeth and Philip.

I know some bits of this show is fictionalized but idk i just relate to this character so much. When she asked him not to hurt her i felt that. I keep coming back here everytime im heartbroken lol UPDATE (JUNE 2023): I'm heartbroken

Princess Margo was honestly one of my favorite characters in the show just bc of how well she was portrayed. Vanessa was the cake, Helena was the cherry lol, for lack of better analogies lol. Vanessa portrayed Margaret to be the restless fighter. Helena portrayed her to be the “princess who’d given up.” Same with Olivia Colman. Olivia & Claire acted with the same brilliance. Ugh just love the Crown.

before saying anything ,George the 6th would've been proud of both his daughters no matter what just like a father should .She wanted Peter ,not really Tony let's be honest about that . Margaret always wanted Peter . Maybe she wanted Tony in the beginning of that relationship but her heart always belonged to Peter . But ,when the Queen decided to send Peter off we all know Peter wasn't coming back to be with Margaret without a fight . It's sad Peter found someone else but I truly believe he wasn't happy either . I do well hope they found each other in the afterlife sort of say .

The kids grow UP with nannies. The Real Margaret wouldnt wake UP before noon... Every body loves Margaret because her portray on the crown and the amazing Vanesa Kirby... But the reality is that Margaret was not half as nice as the crown shows.. Except that she had a close relationship with her dad and sister.

She did not. Not everything showed on the crown is as it seems. For instance, in Real life queen Elizabeth supported her sister and margaret was given the chance to marry Peter after she reached 25.. But she finally decide not to do so.
