Such a wonderful day! Typical British weather and typical Gorgeous Princess Catherine! All of the ladies looked amazing! So fun and great work by the hardworking troops! They all did such a great job!
Princess Catherine was there to take the salute from the Irish regiment since she is the Colonel of the Irish regimen. She stood up in the balccony at the Kings Guard Parade to take the salute from them.

Wrong. She was styled as 'Kate, Duchess of Wales' as Princess of Wales, she is styled as Catherine. But it is perfectly fine to refer to her as 'Kate'. Style, reference and deference are separate things. She is Princess Catherine of Wales and you can call her Kate.

Happy (Official) Birthday King Charles! I am delighted that Catherine and the children could partake of the festivities! It was nice to see Prince Edward and Sophie's daughter (Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor) with them too. It was also nice to see the Duke (Prince Richard) and Duchess (Brigitte) of Gloucester at the event (the youngest of the "old" royals) I couldn't see anyone (other than the shoulder of Princess Anne) on the other side of balcony. Anyone know who else was there?

It's permissable to call her Kate in the third person. Princess Catherine is a style you can refer to. But it is okay to call her Kate. Don't get your knickers in a twist. Nobody likes performative outrage. Especially when it is based on ignorance of proper etiquette. One would think a subject to His Royal Higness, King Charles, should know that! I do hate to presume but I take it you are unaware of the protocol? Did you know that nobody is expected to follow etiquette? Least of all individuals who are not subjects of the British crown?
