Yes. Everyone tends to blame Charles and Charles alone, but it was the Queen forcing this. He may have been a prick to her. There's no disputing that, but imagine if you genuinely loved someone, but due to duty and bloodline, you had little choice but to marry someone else or abdicate. It would be extremely difficult to learn to "love" the person you were strong armed into marrying and unable to be with who you really love. I know a lot of people will say they would have walked away then and abdicated, but things aren't so simple. Having said that, poor lovely Diana was a tool to be used by the whole family. Not just Charles.

I don't understand how you can give your opinion on the life and soul of another, regardless of who he is. Charles is a man like all of us, with his soul and his love. He loved Camilla and Camilla him. Theirs is a love written in the stars. Diana was not suitable for him but this marriage was imposed on him. Diana was beautiful, kind, but a big emotional mess. Why didn't he work to make things work between them? He was cruel, and probably still is. Also incredibly spoiled. If he couldn’t bring himself to love her, the very least he could do was treat her with the dignity and respect she deserved as his wife, instead of angrily resenting her popularity. She was his greatest asset and he couldn’t fathom that because of his self centeredness. He is so spoiled, he has to have his shoelaces ironed every morning before he dresses. Princess DIANA was used “” YOUNG and can BEAR a CHILD and that’s the priority of these ROYAL FAMILY and CAMILLA being around even though she knew Charles was already married but yet She STOLE the title from Princess Diana. Diana did not want to go through with the marriage because the night before the wedding, Charles admitted to her that he did not love her, but she was encouraged to go forward with the marriage anyway by her sisters because the wedding was to happen the next morning. Poor, innocent, naive Diana.

I have always thought Charlie was a jerk and that the cow Camilla was very much in the center of the divorce. I remember one interview when Diana said there are three of us in this marriage. My heart broke for her and the boys. It’s turning out that William is more like his father in many ways. Still so sad and I miss her. Diana and Charles should never have got married, he had to, to get sons for the Royal line, and she wasn't ready for marriage and found herself more into having fun outside of marriage. He has never grown up and got passed Camilla, and still hasn't, and neither had Diana as she found more fun before and after William and Harry were born, which are not the actions of a woman that is newly married. But then Charles was involved with Camilla, and as sad as she is Camilla was involved with Charles, little more than two married women playing around, Diana may have thought if he can so can I may have been played out. Charles looking for another mother and Diana looking for a husband just simply could not work. As Charles was quoted as saying, I have done my duty, when William was born is not something you should tell your young wife even if she was having affairs at the time.

I was in Australia with my family watching Diana and Charles interview before they married. We all agreed at the time that it was arranged. She was an aristocrat with no past, pure and a perfect brood mare to give him his heirs. We were laughing that she probably had a better pedigree than him. I am the same age as her and the only thought at the time was... run and I bet she wanted to deep down.
