There was also a time when she was visiting a hospital and saw a little girl who was dying of AIDS and didn't want to eat. She sat down, talked to the girl, and slowly fed her (the girl ate the entire meal). Afterwards, she wrote letters to the girl and personally went to visit her parents after she died (again, with no cameras). There are many, many more examples. Read some of the many biographies and you'll see that she really did "walk the walk". It wasn't just an act.

True and when she was nearly ten years old, near her bordig school there was a "care home for the sick and elderly" and she went to visit many times...ger teacher said in an interview...at first she sneak aut the school and after they caught her they said to her that she was allowed if she tried to achieve better grades...she was always a kind human being

Did actually DID work. She made private visits to in the hospital and she invited children, cancer survivors, etc, to her palace for tea and lunch. She learned sign language when she became a patron of the British Deaf Association. No other royal did anything like that.

If you study it more, there appears to be labels on each, which could well have their names written on. Seems like they were given each others, Harry noticed and swapped.

Wills and Harry looked so happy receiving those goodies. Ahhh being kids are still the best. Nostalgia.

The day princess Dianna died. My daughters pet died a few hours later. She was inconsolable, until I told her she went to keep Princess Dianna company. Those boys of hers were lucky to have such a loving, caring mother. The whole world is still morning her.

Comedians like Robin Williams loved to make people laugh, because it was a way to project their own need to feel happiness and lightness. Diana was the same way. She showed love and compassion to everyone else because she needed to feel loved and safe, especially after her uneasy childhood. Its amazing how time and time again, it surprises us that outstanding people like this were actually asking us for help, but we didn't realize it.

Lovely video. The boys look so happy with their mum, graciously accepting heartfelt gifts from fans. I teared up though when she glanced to her left at the officer, and he gave her a salute. Preach it! I too have countless stories that I could share, but I don't need to prove anything. Some won't like Diana no matter what. I don't care if someone doesn't like Diana, but when they say "She didn't really care" or "she didn't actually work" that bothers me because it isn't true.

* First of all, it's not a dress. She's wearing a long jacket over a skirt. * 2nd, she wore this exact outfit at least 3 times. She wore it to South Korea in 1992 and to Kingston Ontario during the 1991 Canadian tour. * 3rd, "15,000 quid in todays money" is ridiculous. You can't just create a figure like that: you need proof. * 4th, she generated millions of dollars for charity throughout her life, so you have no valid point. She needed to look good to get media attention for her causes.

I have never been able to pinpoint that unique color, nor have I seen it used again for another garment in Diana's or anyone else's wardrobe. Such a beautiful contrast with the navy toned accents and with D's skin and hair coloring.

Yes I understand your point, and it's sad because I wish these normal charity workers get more recognition than what they normally get. However, these charities, many of which are private, need donations in order for their facilities/programs to continue. Donations are needed and high profiled individuals, such as the late Princess, help champion them and generate donations from the public.
