So Do I .Princess Diana obviously loved him and was in love with him .Guess it wasn't meant to be ..So Sad

She shined more than the jewellery she wore..i feel she had the aura, which made even precious stones shine brighter than ever.

So sad. Diana was still so young when she left us.....she had so much life to live.

I wish they had been happy together! They would be incredible!

@@glen7318 rubbish. Do you know how terrible that sounds? His marriage was not working so he had an affair. Like it’s ok. He was born into a position of responsibility. He couldn’t handle that position and the maturity that comes with it. Instead he enjoyed himself as a prince and then when it came to doing the right thing he escaped. Used a woman to have children and then ditched her. Diana had no choice out of loneliness to have affairs. She was really mistreated by him.

At the beginning, the union went well, and Charles really tried from the pictures I see. Could have been jealousy, fame,Camilla, family pressures, mid life crisis, Diana was truly elegant and beautiful. And hope she is enjoying wherever she is.

Well nothing can change the fact that he loves his sons and his sons' mother was and will always be Diana, the woman he couldn't bring himself to love. He might have gotten his happy ending with Camilla but no power in the world can make her the mother of his children and the mother of the future king. In that way, Diana got her justice.

I sat in front of them for an hour or so, in 1981 and they were really so happy, so relaxed without the cameras, fooling about, joking and clearly in love. They were all there, the whole family. I was so nervous as I was so young.

The beginning where Charles and Diana are dancing, was the peek of Diana's bulimia. You can tell by her frail frame. It was after William's birth, and she had post-natal depression. I doubt that was a 'good' time for her.

It's very well documented that they both tried to call off the wedding and that there were always 'three' (not including Diana's lovers) in the marriage. Looks good on film...but it was, as stated in countless interviews with those living through it, one big charade. They were good at pretending in public. Oscars and BAFTA's to both.

Yep, he broke her heart. Didn't really see it at the time,but looking back at all these photos and video clips, it's apparent - at one time she was quite in-love with him. it's also apparent, he wasn't at all in-love with her. Sad. It's what got her killed. Had he loved her, she never would have been in that car with another man.

Most probably won't agree, but I've always felt there was love there - not just at first, but throughout their marriage. The problem was he wasn't giving her his whole heart. When Camilla became available again, it was too much for him and we all know what eventually happens to EVERYONE when you try to burn the candle at both ends. They were people just like the rest of us, and subject to the effects of bad decisions and heartache. I bet in the quiet times of his life, Charles misses her still. I'm fairly certain that wherever Diana is now, she misses him, too....

-thanks for these clips, reminding us of what should have been……had Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles been responsible and tended to their own marriages. She chose to have a family with someone else-that should have ended the relationship. All the drama that ensued from there stemmed from their selfishness.
