I've never been a royal watcher. However reading about Princess Anne being the first woman to attend the Vigil of the Princes made me want to read some about her. From what I've read she does A LOT in her royal duty. A very admirable woman.

doesn't matter in that age, she would have been replaced by any brother...the law which doesn't make distinction about the gender about the heir to the throne, had a few years and is not retroactive

My dad was in Queen's Gurkha Signals, Princess Anne had a chat with my dad on her visit in late 70s. And I was performing a dance in front of her while she was in Hong Kong.😄😊😊 that's early 80s.

One of my favourite royal woman - nice to see her in her duties with 70th years 🙌🏼 , she is definitely a treasure for the royal family ✨

These Military visits have so much more meaning being officiated by someone that appreciates and upholds duty and dedication to Country and Queen.

Definitely a woman that I would look up to. Strong, graceful, proud. Beautiful.

What i really like about Princess Anne. I don’t see her as a classical princess in a ballgown, living lavishly in a palace, getting all she wants. Instead, I see her as a strong woman, a patriot in a military uniform, a lady with a whole devotion to her country. Salute 🫡

I do really appreciate the dedication Princess Anne continues to show. What happens to all this royal leadership when she and Charles are too old? I can see none of their children wish to take over the duties, with exception of William. What a tradition to just let fall away due to none interest. Sad.

@@jeanettapayne9631 The citizens of England do not pay for the keep of the Royal Family. They are paid for by the income (15%) of the Crown Estate and the Duchy if Lancaster (100%). Charles' family is kept by the income from the Duchy of Cornwall. Always remember that prejudice breeds ignorance.

It’s a complete myth that Britain used colonial troops as cannon fodder. In WW2, 1 in 10 soldiers were from the United Kingdom, yet 7 in 10 deaths were from the United Kingdom. Imperial Japans treatment of Indian POWs strained UK-Japanese relations for decades, in 1967 Hirohito’s visit was protested against even after all that time had passed.

He visto la extraordinaria visita de la Princesa Anna al Regimiento Burka, después he leído sus comentarios y entiendo mejor que la Reina Elizaberh II que estaba con la Princesa Anna en Balmoral, Escocia, cuando falleció, dejara redactada las instrucciones para que ella la acompañara en el ataúd ya, en avión hasta Edimburgo y que estuviera presente en el ceremonial desfile en Londres desde Buckingham Palace hasta la Catedral, Abadía. Por lo que sé de mis amigos ingleses, la Reina Elizabeth II, quería mucho a la Princesa Anna y confiaba mucho, mucho en ella. Deseo les vaya a todos bien con el nuevo Rey Carlos III Nuestro Rey Felipe VI y la Reina Letizia están hoy en Londres para dar consuelo y acompañamiento. Saludos cordiales desde España.
